Just Jack Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 Randy Quaid freed on bail after arrest in Texas MARFA, Texas (AP) - Actor Randy Quaid and his wife have been released from a West Texas jail after their arrest for allegedly skipping out on a $10,000 California hotel bill. Quaid and his wife, Evi, each posted $20,000 bail late Thursday after spending several hours in jail, Presidio County Sheriff Danny Dominguez told The Associated Press. The couple is accused of racking up the debt during a stay at the luxury San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara in June. According to reports, the star attempted to charge the bill to his credit card - but it was declined and he failed to produce another form of payment before leaving the resort without settling the invoice. San Ysidro Ranch - for this weekend (Friday through Sunday) the cheapest room was $795/night.
