SouthGeorgiaBillsFan Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 We have given up over 660 yards passing thus far. That's second worse in the league. This was a position were supposed to be deep at. Our pass rush looks a little better than last year so I'm not sure why the Bills are struggling in this area and with the Saints passing attack it's a concern. It just seems like our corners give up to many yards to the recievers coming off the LOS. For the record, pass defense is not a position. I suggest you start there in your quest for remedial understanding.

StupidNation Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Maybe, just maybe, this proves what everyone knows... the D-line is more important than CBs.
Fan in San Diego Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Our weakness is LB's that can't cover the pass worth poop.
thewildrabbit Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Total pass yards mean nothing. 31st in the league in pass defense means nothing also I suppose
TheChimp Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Our weakness is LB's that can't cover the pass worth poop. Yes.

Fingon Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 31st in the league in pass defense means nothing also I suppose If you looked behind the numbers, you would see that our pass D is a strength.
Big Turk Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Teams cannot run on us, so they are being forced to throw the ball. In both games, we built leads which forced teams to throw a lot in the second half...
Big Turk Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 31st in the league in pass defense means nothing also I suppose In this case, it really doesn't mean a lot. Teams are averaging 3 yards a carry running the ball, so it doesn't make much sense for them to continue to try and run, especially when they are losing, which both teams have been in the second half. So they throw the ball.

JPicc2114 Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Brady threw like 60 times.. Leftwitch like 50 times.. cmon. That stat means nothing right now.
