BBC article about same issue commented about hail storm and earthquake happening in the same relative time frame.

 

Thoughts and prayers go out as the conditions look harsh and extreme.

Funny how none of my family in Sydney have even mentioned it. Must have been short lived. Aussies are pretty hardy - most will just ignore it and get on with their day.

Yep.....just like the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex does when one of those famous west Texas storms gives the area a visit.

They're driving on the wrong side of the road heading into a storm that makes visibility almost nil and will clog up their engine. Yeah turning around would be a bad idea. :unsure:

 

I know they drive on the left side in Australia. That's the joke!!
