gflande1 Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 So now its Fine, Nelson and Stupar. Is that good enough? Hope Nelson turns it up
BuffaloBill Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 So now its Fine, Nelson and Stupar. Is that good enough? Hope Nelson turns it up Nelson has looked good so far ... wonder if they try to get another TE to practice squad given fine's health has been questionable.
JStranger76 Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Edwards will say "oh, it'll be tough to replace Derek" but in truth it won't. This will hopefully force the Bills to catch up with the rest of the modern world at the TE position. Let the Nelson with Fine/Stupar era begin. Maybe even add another TE with recieving potential in Rucker?............
Captain Hindsight Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 He was looking like a good player this year...to bad
eball Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 I hate it for the guy, but you have to think this sounds the death knell on Schouman's NFL career. He just can't stay healthy. What a day at One Bills Drive. Two players to IR, another released from the PS, a promotion, and two FA signings.

Alaska Darin Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 That sucks but I totally expected that. I won't be surprised if he's unable to play again. That was a nasty injury.
BillsObserver Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Good performance by him Sunday but this opens up the door for Nelson & Fine, who I believe can be just as productive.
Omar Little Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Sucks to lose a guy who was putting up 51.5 YPG and had recorded five first-down catches. Solid safety valve.
ganesh Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 MRI must not have been good. I think it is more a football decision of having to carry DS on the 53 man roster for the next 4 weeks and being thin at the TE position...like what happened to Poz in his rookie season.
The Poojer Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 but doesn't putting him on IR put him out for the year? pretty sure he can't come back I think it is more a football decision of having to carry DS on the 53 man roster for the next 4 weeks and being thin at the TE position...like what happened to Poz in his rookie season.
Big Turk Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 MRI must not have been good. "Never saw that one coming..." Regards, Ray Charles
phxbacker Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 That's quite a shame, he looked to be having a good year to start. But, time for Stupar to give it a go. It should elevate Nelson now as well so experience is a good thing.

PromoTheRobot Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Schouman is definitely underrated, but I am looking forward to seeing what Stupar can do. Was his pre-season just a fluke? He certainly seems to be able to catch the ball. PTR

He will be a very good for the Bills.
