Sen. John Blutarsky Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 Anyone else thinking tackle eligible on the goalline? I don't see him doing much else at this point so if that's not the reason they activated him I'm as confused as you. I just realized that I mentioned Jason Peters...and I'm about to be horribly flamed for doing so....
BillsGuyInMalta Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 I want to see Big Ol' Jason just run over some poor Patriots 5th string CB who is unlucky enough to try to tackle him. I'd really like to see Peters catch a few tonight, but alas I think the best bet is he'll be in on goal-line situations to block
Campy Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 IMO, he'll be used as a run blocker in goalline/short yardage situations.
Nanker Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 I'd love to see Butch Rolle's role reprised in the persona of Jason Peters. JP would just have to report as Tackle-eligible if he's wearing number 71. It would be fun though to see him in the open field doing a snowplow on the wide-eyed DBs. Wonder if his Wonderlic would allow for that. Dum, da, dum-dum - Duh!
Sisyphean Bills Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 I'd love to see this guy run over Troy Brown.
Albany,n.y. Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 Good chance he'll be inactive & bring everyone who thinks he's so great back to reality. This is a guy who was an undrafted free agent who has spent 1/2 the season on the practice squad with no other teams wanting to sign him off the PS the entire time.

Teams usually don't scout other teams' PS players, much less to put them on their 53-man roster. I didn't think he'd make it to the Bills' PS, but there he and he's worked his way up. What he does with his chance is all up to him.
Bill from NYC Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 I'd love to see this guy run over Troy Brown. 116228[/snapback] Are you any relation to "Winfield is a God?"
