tombradyfan Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 Buffalo could easily be 5-3 or even 6-2, they have indeed lost some very close games. Their special teams are very good, front 7 on "D" is excellent and Milloy back at safety is just weird, Mcgahee is hot, Moulds & Evans are solid and Drew is, well Drew - give him time and he can tear us up. But, they won't succeed at beating this team, at home on this day. Patriots are simply playing at a much higher level and will overcome some areas of concern with an all out effort against as I said a very good Buffalo team. I look for our d line to continue what they started last week and not allow Drew any time to throw, I look for a concentrated effort in keeping Mcgahee from hurting us too bad. On offense, as good as Buffalo is, we get weapons back (hopefully Branch) and that will be quite enough to allow us to exploit the Bills problem of trying to stop Dillon and Tom Brady with his band of quality wide outs (amazing to me how much better our wide outs seem, when Branch is back in the line up). We can spread four or five wide again, we can screen to Faulk all day long, we can hit the safety valve of Dillon after he blocks - so much offense...get excited men, it all comes together tonight. Look for as much as 27-17 or maybe only 20-12, but withjout a doubt a win for the home team.
Sen. John Blutarsky Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 24-13 Bills. Willis goes nuts tonight in his first primetime game since his injury. He is a man with something to prove and it starts tonight on ESPN. 175 yards, 2 TDs and at least one long run.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 It'll be a tough game, no doubt about it. I think this entire game for the Bills boils down to whether or not they can keep pressure off of Bledsoe. Many ways to do this, the most likely is a healthy dose of Willis right down the Patriots overconfident throat. If Willis can start forcing the Patriots to put more guys in the box then they'd like to, then Bledsoe can just air it out against the weak Patriots secondary and have time to throw. If the Patriots start getting to Bledsoe early, we might as well pack it in before 10 because Drew has definitely proven he cannot beat the Patriots once they start sacking the hell out of him.
Hardy Pyle Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 27-13 NE. The patsies throw all day long, exploit our secondary, pass rush can't get to Brady. Home crowd, big game, Drew gets sacked 3 times. MaGahee runs for 100 yards, but low average per carry. Bills nation is brought back to reality. But I hope I'm WRONG!
Campy Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 The game will come down to the Bills D vs the Pats O. Their D is ranked 21st against the run, our O will be successful there. But they won't hang too many points on them, which is why I think it's critical our D plays a smart game and shuts down Dillon. If the Bills do that, they'll win by 6-10 points, but the game won't be as close as the score. If the Bills fail to do that, Pats win by 6-10 in a tight one.
