Tcali Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Evans played a key role in Buffalos win today. Opened up a ton of stuff underneath. And with 1 TD and almost another..no complaints.
bizell Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 unless we have another Evans on our team, he caught a 32 yard touchdown
The Dean Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 unless we have another Evans on our team, he caught a 32 yard touchdown Details
Lofton80 Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Scored a touchdown. Certainly blocks more than TO. Bills win, I don't care if he catches anything.
Max997 Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Did evans play today? caught 1 TD and almost had another do the people who post crap like this even watch the games?
Tcali Posted September 21, 2009 Author Posted September 21, 2009 unless we have another Evans on our team, he caught a 32 yard touchdown you are correct.
cowtippur Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Without him this offense is a lot worse. The only reason we have anything open, long or underneath is because of two viable threats on the outside. So, yes, it may be an expensive touchdown, but wouldn't an expensive incompletion or loss be worse?
Conch Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 32 yards is a 40% increase is his average yards per game over the last 5 games.

The Dean Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 oh i forgot--thats an expensive touchdown Trent also threw another deep pass to him in the 2nd Q (incomplete) and he was the target when Trent overthrew him for the INT. I guess if you think a WR only has value when he catches TD passes, then, yes I guess he was expensive today. But the TD pass and the two other attempts to Lee down the field is what the Bills need to do to loosen up the D. Did you notice Owens had single coverage (no Safety help, either) on the TD? Does that happen without Lee on the other side?
John from Riverside Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 oh i forgot--thats an expensive touchdown--he was a dominating presence out there today with that one catch X's and O's perspective..... TO and LEE are the focus of the opposing defense.....which is allowing us to make plays underneath. He SHOULD have had two touchdowns today.....he had one. We won.....

I just think that 10 mil should = dominant player..thats all

MRW Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 oh i forgot--thats an expensive touchdown--he was a dominating presence out there today with that one catch Instead of making this reply you really should've just closed the thread. This is embarrassing.
Tsaikotic Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 You asked if he played today. It was an ignorant comment. agreed..I also wonder why these ppl are so worried about how much a player makes..
Tcali Posted September 21, 2009 Author Posted September 21, 2009 You asked if he played today. It was an ignorant comment. Ok --I overstated that---shheeessh ---i better be sharper on this board
otisly00 Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 oh i forgot--thats an expensive touchdown--he was a dominating presence out there today with that one catch does it suck to be so angry all the time?
stevestojan Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 TD catches = Good WR Doing everything else well that fits into the role of WR, but not catching 4 TDs a game = waste of money. Sober up before posting again, seriously.
Brother Hesekiah Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Ok --I overstated that---shheeessh ---i better be sharper on this board Or just stop posting altogether.
todd Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Did evans play today? Odd not having much to complain about, isn't it?
