Stenbar Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 I think 2 games in Kyle Williams looks like the most improved player over last year
G-Daddy Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Where did Leodis get hurt? missed that. From CBS Sportsline. 1253484633 5:10 ET Bills CB Leodis McKelvin (ankle), RT Brad Butler (right knee) and TE Shawn Nelson (shoulder) are all out for the remainder of the game.
Stan da Man Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 I think 2 games in Kyle Williams looks like the most improved player over last year He has looked solid for sure.
Simon Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Please don't incite the geniuses. GO BILLS!!! You are correct, my apologies. Besides the 4th down conversions its working (re: the blitz) It worked? Ummmm it cost us a TD and allowed them to score it in like 3-4 minutes. It most certainly did NOT work.
Mr. WEO Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Frpm CBS Sportsline. 1253484633 5:10 ET Bills CB <a href="http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/518955"></a><a href="http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/519682"><a href="http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/518955">Leodis McKelvin</a></a> (ankle), RT <a href="http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/537404">Brad Butler</a> (right knee) and TE <a href="http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/518955">Shawn Nelson</a> (shoulder) are all out for the remainder of the game. Saudi Arabia Rob Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Gotten give Clayton credit for trying, but at least make the catch. Corner looked like a little kid getting shoved on a bus there.
G-Daddy Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Which play? I don't know.....sometime in the 1st half.
Tcali Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 noooo prevent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! good they listened to me
G-Daddy Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 WIN Yes! Let's enjoy it for a couple of days before thinking about N.O. Go Bills!!
Tcali Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 It's legitimate school of thought but I'd lean the other way. With some help from god they can get a TD and a FG before the clock hits :00. But I don't see any reasonable way they can put it in the endzone twice. oh vs the bills i ccould easily see it fortunately they put the heat on Leftwich there at the end
Kiwi Bills fan Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Way to go Buffalo! (Now it's time for a motorcycle ride along the coast.)
Bills Fan888 Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 How did no one get the pic? 3 Bills sitting there and a drop?
billsfan89 Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Glad the Bills got a Win but I didn't catch most of the game (Saw the end of the game right after TO caught the ball) due to having to be trained for work Have a few questions about the way the Bills played 1- I know Jackson kicked ass but how did the O-line do in pass protection and were they as dominant in run blocking as the stats would suggest? (How did Bell look any penalties) 2- The stats suggested that the Bills run D did well did they look as well as they suggested? 3- Did the O run the no huddle if they did how long did they run it? 4- One last question how did Trent play overall stats where good but did he work it more down field more?

Bell did take 1 holding penalty but was OK most of the day. Pass protection was great as Trent had a ton of time for much of the day. A few edge blitzes got home but Edwards did a nice job beating them by getting the ball out. 2- Yes the Bucs groundgame had no space. 3- All day long 4- Yeah, he took a bunch of shots deep. TO dropped a beautiful throw that would have been good for 50+. The first TD to Lee Evans was a perfect Trent audible on 3rd/short. He struggled in the first couple drives coming out of the half, but looked very solid most of the day. Still some issues when opponents drop off 7 guys in coverage but he's getting better at getting it out quick at those times. Also did a (mostly) nice job of recognizing when he had single coverage on the outside and getting it down the field.
agilen Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Did anyone else see 3-4 intentional grounding penalties that should have been called on Leftwich on the bucs' last TD drive? I'm not really inclined to think the NFL has something against the Bills, but this game should _not_ have been as close as it was.
