Fezmid Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 I'll take my turn: I have 5 HBs, and I start two. Which would you choose? Steve Jackson (StL vs Wash) Knowshon Moreno (Den vs Cle - but he's hurt) Reggie Bush (NO vs Phil) Willie Parker (Pit vs Chi - No Urlacher...?) Fred Jackson (Buf vs TB - Homer pick? ) I'm leaning towards both Jackson's. Opinions? Scoring is 1 point per 10 yards receiving, 1 point per 10 yards rushing, and 6 points per TD. CW Quote
BuffOrange Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Not a homer pick at all; Freddy might be your best option imo. I'd give SJax a very slight edge over Parker. Quote

Ramius Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 I'd definitely start F-Jax. I'm still kicking myself for not drafting him in the 10th round of our draft when it came around. After him its a tough choice, but i'd probably lean toward S-Jax followed by Parker. Moreno is banged up and denver's backfield situation is a complete mess. I dont trust reggie bush at all. Quote
Fezmid Posted September 23, 2009 Author Posted September 23, 2009 So, who should I start this week...? Definitely starting Fred -- NO's defense hasn't shown that it's very good. But who should the 2nd back be? Steve Jackson? He plays GB. Reggie Bush? He plays Buffalo, but might have a big game. Willie Parker? He plays Cincy, so maybe... But not likely. Still not sure Knowshon is ready. What do you think? Quote

He got 100yds against a Skins D that I think is just as good vs. the run as GB who couldn't stop Benson and a bad Cincy OL. Plus the Rams seem to fall behind 14-0 less often at home. I think Parker is going to start losing some carries after Mendenhall finally looked decent last week; but they can't run the ball anyway and the Bengals defense isn't that bad. Bush could have a big game receiving vs. our LB's but meh. Quote
