blzrul Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 If true, he is deserving of the same compassion and well-wishes as were shown by this board to Elizabeth Edwards when we learned she had cancer.
Thurman's Helmet Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 No matter a person's politics, they are still people and have families and people who care about them. Hopefully Dick is okay.
UConn James Posted November 13, 2004 Author Posted November 13, 2004 If true, he is deserving of the same compassion and well-wishes as were shown by this board to Elizabeth Edwards when we learned she had cancer. 115623 From what one poster in that thread said, that he's getting what he deserves? To that person, a big F U. I don't like the man's politics of fear and hatred, but I'm not rooting for him to have health problems. Hope he's all right. Which is much more magnanimous than my feelings about Tom Brady tomorrow night. My instructions to Aaron Schoebel would be to rip off major body parts. I hate that nancyboy brat.
Alaska Darin Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 If true, he is deserving of the same compassion and well-wishes as were shown by this board to Elizabeth Edwards when we learned she had cancer. 115623 Is that because you have the same amount of class that was shown in that thread?
DC Tom Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 If true, he is deserving of the same compassion and well-wishes as were shown by this board to Elizabeth Edwards when we learned she had cancer. 115623 Yeah. Because playing partisan political word games with someone's health is a lot less stupid the second time around...
VabeachBledsoefan Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 Yeah. Because playing partisan political word games with someone's health is a lot less stupid the second time around... 115685 I'm sorry but a person's health does not equate to his politics....I hope he is ok
DC Tom Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 I'm sorry but a person's health does not equate to his politics....I hope he is ok 115705 Debbie, you changed screen names. Did you miss my point, or just ignore it?
blzrul Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 Yeah. Because playing partisan political word games with someone's health is a lot less stupid the second time around... 115685 No-one's doing that. My post was in the hope that we would AVOID that - a reminder that we even though we may not "like" the person, after hashing through that painful Edwards thread we should all remember that it's not nice to wish death and suffering on someone. Unless that's not what was ultimately conceded on that thread - it got off track and I lost interest. I didn't change screen names.
DC Tom Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 I didn't change screen names. 115718 Good grief...what, did everyone start drinking early tonight?
Campy Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 In case you missed it, he experienced shortness of breath. A couple of tests indicated no irregularities, and he's since been released. Article thingy.

Hope he is okay.
