i think the time we as people become so desensitized that the instinct to muster outrage is gone, is the time to start folding tents and saying prayers. just my opinion.

Outrage at the guy who painted the grass or outrage at the play of the Bills for the last decade?

If you are talking about the Bills then I agree. It's almost time to start folding the tents and send them somewhere else.

i was responding to the poster who questioned what the big deal was about in regards to someone vandalizing Leodis' lawn. i was NOT referring at all to the Bills.

To the people that did this:

You suck. You will always suck. And when you get done sucking at the end of your sucky lives. - you will suck some more.

I don't have enough time in the week to find your hundreds of posts claiming Hardy hit his infant son, or your posts claiming Lynch left the woman for dead. Your little lie of "Hardy pulled a gun on his dad" is a nice touch however. You seem to have a big misunderstanding of what constitutes a "fact" and what is an over exaggeration. Perhaps you can go look it up in revelations? You should have some more free time now since the world didn't end on 9/15/09 like your prediction.

I knew. :wallbash:

But living here in the NYC area, where people only really care about the Giants for about 45 minutes before and after a Super Bowl, I'd rather root for a team the has passionate fans. Otherwise what's the point.

I agree but with the caveat civil classy passionate fans.

You guys seriously never considered getting in your car in middle of the night with 6 cans of spray paint and every piece of camo clothing you own and made a trip to create a piece of art on someone's lawn.

Besides, it was prolly his neighbors.

Ummmm, no. By the time I was able to drive that stuff had stopped entering my head for about 5 years.

You have to take the bad with the good. That's just the way it is.

I just want to repeat, It was spray paint on grass.

His girlfriends false accusation does not constitute the truth. He smacked her around, but he did NOT hit his infant son. If he hit his son, child services would have been all over his ass. Just because there are other people in the room when you hit someone doesn't mean you hit everyone in that room. You are the only dimwit on the entire board claiming that Hardy hit his infant son.

I am not going to defend James Hardy for hitting his girlfriend. But i will defend him from false accusations thrown around by scumbag low-life losers sitting on a pile of dinty moore cans in a 1000 sq ft house with 12 other people waiting for the apocalypse, who think it is perfectly acceptable to violate someone's personal property because of what happened during a football game.

It was spray paint on grass specifically applied by someone who specifically went out of their way to target someone they didn't know but were apparently very upset with.

That's what makes it kind-of scary. The act itself may not be significant; the attitude behind it has something of a "rabbit in the stewpot" color to it.

Stupid? Yes. All around stupid. Hardly worth all the media outrage and people calling it horrifying, shocking and over the top though. One person did something incredibly dumb while no doubt highly intoxicated. Drunk Bills fan. Geez, those are as common as snow storms in January. Took the loss too hard, had a few too many Genny's and did something stupid. Isolated incident. Move on. I am not horrified. I will be un-politically correct here, I think it was a bit amusing that some idiot would take the loss so hard they would even consider doing something like that. Be thankful that is all that happened. Some soccer fans have done much worse. What scares me is that now Bills players are going to arm themselves to the teeth to protect themselves, just in case. How long before someone pulls a Plaxico? I blame Tom Cruise for this. Versus has been showing All The Right Moves like 6 times a week. Ampipe lost the big game because Craig T. Nelson made a bad play call and they trashed his house. I'm just saying, media influences small minded people to do stupid things sometime.

This FROM HIS NFL SANCTIONED DRAFT BIO WHICH I LINKED!!!:

"But off the field, trouble followed. He was arrested on May 19 on charges of domestic battery and interfering with the reporting of a crime, after his girlfriend accused him of hitting her and the couple's infant child.

Hardy pleaded not guilty to the charges and later accepted a court's offer in Fort Wayne to settle his case through a pretrial diversion agreement. By accepting the program, he had to comply with the conditions of the agreement and pay court costs. He also apologized to his teammates and IU in his statement."

If you would like to continue to stalk and slander me, I going to go Wawrow on you.

JW, make room for me at the prayer rail ... we need prayer big time!

Someone please show civility and citizenship by offering to repair the damage ...

Jesus Christ...

It's SPRAY PAINT people! On growing GRASS. Just go to the game and cheer the man on Sunday. That's all you need to do. Then it will all blow over.

However, I may punch a Bills fan in the face if I see one booing McLovin on Sunday after this rather extreme lawn job.

It took a while, but after 12+6 pages, it's finally the media's fault.

Okay...on to the Bucs.

Do you know the difference between being accused of doing something and actually doing it?

Feel free to consider this a troll-free thread.

Just a reminder that people can disagree about this topic without being disagreeable. One guy has already crossed that line, and won't be coming back for a while. Hate to see anyone else join him.

Well said.

The NFL promotes these guys 24/7 as well as tacitly endorsed a billion dollar a year gambling industry.

The NFL promotes fantasy football, which in 99% of cases involves wagering

Twitter, UStream, et al., only encourage more un-needed exposure of these athletes, and is a minefield which is still unfolding (Hey...anyone here watch the live Ustream with Lynch, Nelson and our buddy Kawika Mitchell....where Lynch is smoking a "cigar" in the background as the smoke detector constantly beeps from a low or removed battery, Nelson refers multiple times to "White Bitches"....and Lynch holds up an Oakland Raiders helmet and tells this camera "This is what it's all about!"????)

If Mitchell doesn't Twitter...I've got $100 that says we never hear a word of this.

The Bills were 5-1 underdogs to win the game.......you think...just POSSIBLY...this wasn't even a Bills fan but someone that lost $$ on McKelvin's mistake?

Better yet...it was probably some 15 year old that was winning his Fantasy Football matchup by 4 points, until Brady threw his 2nd touchdown and lost it for the kid.

People need to stop and think sometimes. The NFL pimps these guys out on every form of media 24/7, then cries when someone receives a little "creative" constructive criticism.

I've gotta run now.....I just caught an 8 year old chalking out a Hopscotch on my sidewalk......little B word!
