SouthernMan Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Just wondering - is it me, or did T.O. look slow? Maybe I'm just not used to the long strides or something, but to me, he didn't appear all that quick. Haven't really followed his career that closely, so maybe his style is just deceptive and he uses his great route-running to make up for flat out speed. Somebody fill in the blanks for me.

I noticed that too. He looked slow on his RAC on the first reception.
Peter Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 I am not saying that the following is true, but supposedly (according to someone I know from Dallas), there was a suggestion that the Cowpokes let him go because he lost some of his speed. I think that is probably just the Cowpokes trying to justify what they did. I do not know whether he is a fast as was in his prime, but the Pats obviously thought that they had to focus on defending against him. That shows he still is a threat.
