The Poojer Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 with 5:00 left I allowed myself to celebrate as if we had won. I knew better, yet I couldn't help myself. I apologize and will refrain from such behavior in the future

GOBILLS78 Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Yeah, my brother in law (now known as Jinxy) barked the now-infamous words "that pretty much ices the game," after the Bills' last touchdown. That was immediately followed by about eight people immediately and in sync saying "whoa, whoa whoa, slow down there, guy."

stevestojan Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Sad, isn't it. I was watching with several die-hards and one guy who is from Pennsylvania and claims to be a Steelers fan. He said something along the lines of "there's 5 minutes left, this game is over." Everyone in the room told him to just wait...
Captain Caveman Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 I had three phone calls after the last Bills touchdown and didn't take any of them, 'cause I didn't want to jinx it.

DarthICE Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 I called my brother in law and said 'Are you watching this...turn it on' He did just as we scored the last TD. He says 'OMG you guys are gonna win this....'
Steely Dan Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Hey, this thread's about blaming Poojer, you piece of . My point is, Jackass!!, that Poojer might not be the only one to blame here.
Captain Caveman Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 My point is, Jackass!!, that Poojer might not be the only one to blame here. And my point, is that you're wrong, and he is entirely to blame. Nice sense of humor.

I apologize and will refrain from such behavior in the future That's ok, I did too. I figured it was a lock that they'd blow the game so I decided to dance a victory jig with 5:00 left just so I could celebrate.

I figured it was a lock that they'd blow the game so I decided to dance a victory jig with 5:00 left just so I could celebrate. Perhaps the Bills will push through a new rules change cutting their games off at 55 minutes.
