Clutch 3rd down catches - Evans and Owens both had one 1. McKelvin should have fell down or dove. It was his stupidity that led to the Bills downfall. His ball security/ball skills are terrible. Hossage Posted September 15, 2009 Share Posted September 15, 2009 A few dropped balls and bogus illegal procedure penalties and we would have won. I am upset by the illegal procedure penalties. Calling a dead ball foul is the easiest part of refereeing. It should not be selectively enforced on a bills third down. Tackles routinely line up a yard behind the line of scrimmage in the NFL.
