Heels20X6 Posted September 15, 2009 Share Posted September 15, 2009 The Steelers are rolling the ball down the field, Ben completes a huge pass to Hines Ward who, instead of going down and taking the knee, fights for a few extra yards and coughs up the ball, negating a chance to run out the clock and kick the game winning field goal. The look on his face is major disappointment...he knows he's screwed up. He goes to the sidelines and what do his teammates do? They walk up to him and reassure him it'll be okay. Game goes to OT and the Steelers still win. Good teams find ways to overcome mistakes like the one Leodis made. That would have been the time for anyone on the Bills D to register a huge sack on Brady, or pick off the pass in the endzone. Instead, we give Brady another tale to add to his legend....
