DC Tom Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 Speaking of queer......Why is this even a national news story? Husband kills pregnant wife.........Who are these people? What made them any different from the hundreds of other parties to domestic violence and domestic murder in this country each year. Once again the media proves that they control what we think about. ...Step off soap box.... 115068 I think it's simply because her family went to the media and screamed "Help us, our daughter is missing!", thereby kicking off the surface.
NorCal Aaron Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 I hope this opens the eyes of all those adulterers and the consequences of their actions. True, most don't commit felonious acts of violence but this serves notice that they will eventually be caught and will have hell to deal with. Today is a good day for the 10 Commandments, I'd say! 115117 Sarcasm or Catechism? Hope it's the former.
_BiB_ Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 Sarcasm or Catechism? Hope it's the former. 115189 Why? What's wrong with fidelity, loving your wife? Honoring the person you chose to spend your life with. If it's no good, divorce each other. You don't KILL her! I'm by no means a Bible Thumper, but I take very strong issue with this subject. Very strong.
JohnnyBravo Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 I am against the Death Penalty(except for Military Court) and think lifetime in prison is a much worse sentence then the death penalty. Especially when its Sherrif Joe Arpaio 115137 You;re from Essex CT? Isn't that like the Ritz Carlton of CT?
Pete Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 You;re from Essex CT? Isn't that like the Ritz Carlton of CT? 115211 Greenwich and Fairfield County are the Ritz Carlton of CT. Essex is a very small town-my guess is population 2000-that was voted best small town in the USA. CT has lots of exclusive towns-not only on the shore but up outside Hartford and in the Northwest hills. CT also has lots of not so nice towns. I lived in Madison for 15 years and that is more exclusive then Essex. Essex is a bigtime partytown. Bigtime partytown. I was at happy hour and had to take a breather to recoup to go back out. I love Essex!

Pretty advanced for 1970 whatever. The bar seats, and all the tables had a globe over them with a number, and a phone. You like the girl at number 45, ring her. Funny as hell. I'm sure things are much more advanced now, but back then, it was fun.

I love Guilford. Not much for nightlife there but that town is gorgeous! Guilford has one of the nicest greens I have ever seen. It is based on the New Haven Green by Yale. They also have some of the best woods, hiking trails, lakes and ocean in CT. I am not sure where the Dial Tone was but that sounds like a great place. I was at a bar in Kansas City like that- what a great concept! If you are ever down this way let me know- pints are on me

NorCal Aaron Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 but I take very strong issue with this subject. Very strong. 115204 I see that. I avoid moral judgements regarding infidelity. Screwing around ain't illegal yet. Killing of course is a different issue. Love the one you're with.
Paco Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 I think it's simply because her family went to the media and screamed "Help us, our daughter is missing!", thereby kicking off the surface. 115144 Actually, what they were screaming was "Help us, our EIGHT MONTH PREGNANT DAUGHTER has been missing since CHRISTMAS EVE.." and there is your staying power. Remember when the story broke. The one time of the year that everyone at least makes an effort to be melancholy. Suddenly a woman about to give birth is missing, and they're looking at the husband? Once you make it that big a deal, WE make it that big a deal, and then you have staying power because everyone needs to see the bad dude go to hell.
VabeachBledsoefan Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 My thoughts from day one. And we call ourselves informed? 115087 Wow such insights on the board about the extracurricular activities goin on in our penal system

Plenty of my friends don't share my opinion about cheating, and just because I think its wrong doesn't mean I will judge somebody if they do it. People get raised in different environments and as a result have different views on the subject.

NorCal Aaron Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 Personal responsibility and ethics are tough to teach to those hooked on Soma. Islands of resolve are out there.
