Big Turk Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 How does it get to the point when the other teams chances of winning are very remote(under 5%) based on the time of the game and the score, and yet you EXPECT to lose? That is the saddest commentary about Jauron's coaching. No lead is too big for the other team to overcome with Jauron's pillow defense. There is no excuse for this loss, no moral victory, and anyone stating we should be happy about how well they played just misses the point. When you have a situation where you statistically should win 95% of the games you play under those circumstances, it is inexcusable to lose these games 100% of the time. THIS is the reason Jauron needs to be fired. Not because of the other types of games where the Bills aren't in it, but because he continuously makes decisions that cause the Bills to lose games they should win... Yes McKelvin fumbles, but does anyone here think for even a minute that the Patriots wouldn't have forced a 3 and out and then scored anyways?
Maguire's Beer Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Yes McKelvin fumbles, but does anyone here think for even a minute that the Patriots wouldn't have forced a 3 and out and then scored anyways? Yes, I do. We were running very well. I'm confident we would have run the clock out.

CaliforniaCheez Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 It is one thing to be beaten by another team. It is another thing to lose through your own mistakes and bad play.
nichebiche Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 man, a lot of people are really upset about the Bills losing a game they were supposed to lose, by a lot less points than predicted.
Big Turk Posted September 15, 2009 Author Posted September 15, 2009 man, a lot of people are really upset about the Bills losing a game they were supposed to lose, by a lot less points than predicted. THAT ISN'T THE POINT!!! The point is, they lost a game they had no business losing. The point is, this isn't the first time we saw it happen in nearly the same identical fashion. The point is, this team snatches defeat from the jaws of victory way more than it should happen. Good teams win games when they are in the position to win games, regardless of if they were "supposed" to win or not. You think the Steelers became champions by being happy about losing games where they weren't the favorites? This is the whole problem here...the team, the fans and the owner are way too happy to lose close games against teams they think are better even when they are leading and have a very small chance statistically to lose...
