RipfromPA Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 You seem content to place this issue into a nice tidy box with a bow. You are comparing DJ to Parcells one of the best coaches of all time. How about Tony Dungy, a very good coach also. He seems to have the same characteristics as DJ. A quit and confident coach. TD had a little over 500 win/loss record until the Payton Manning days. It's not always the coach. In your theory Marv Levy should not have been coach with Bills during the glory days because he previously could not win. Funny how your stock goes up as a coach when you have players. And speaking of the glory years that was a team that played with attitude and confidence. meant quiet not quit sorry typo
billnutinphoenix Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 This team ultimately showed that it has NO killer attitude...
John from Riverside Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 You know what I took from this game? Had that been any number of teams in the NFL OTHER then the patriots? We win that game. Seriously....I have a very positive feeling about all of this.
bubba Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 wasted timeouts in the second half? check. almost played up to competition? check. their premier receiver outplayed our premier receiver? check. gave the game away? check. broke our hearts? check. Seen this before. No reason to hope for more than 3-13.
murra Posted September 15, 2009 Author Posted September 15, 2009 This team ultimately showed that it has NO killer attitude... How do you arrive at that? One guy fumbles the ball after they played their hearts out, and showed more poise than I've ever seen under Jauron...and now we're worried about not having a "killer attitude"?
