Realist Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Didn't see it posted yet, but ESPN is reporting Urlacher is having surgery and is out for the season.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 He texted he is out for season as well no official word from Bears
IDBillzFan Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 They opened the game last night talking about how he is finally healthy and feeling 100%. Really unfortunate to get hurt so early.
kbuckley9091 Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Didn't see it posted yet, but ESPN is reporting Urlacher is having surgery and is out for the season. Wow!! That sucks for da Bears....ouch....
Magox Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Very unfortunate, I hate to see good players with great character have injuries such as this.
DC Tom Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 What happened? I didn't hear about the injury.
Fixxxer Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 What happened? I didn't hear about the injury. Dislocated wrist, he might need surgery.
JStranger76 Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Back in da day when I played we would just cast it up and club people with it. Seriously though, I hate seeing bad things happen to good people. That really sucks for him and the Bears.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 I sat next to him on a plane once; didn't even realize it was him and slept through almost the entire flight. Seemed like a nice guy, even when the flight attendant was hitting on him. Tough break.
WVUFootball29 Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 According to Schefter, the Bears have already been on the phone with Derrick Brooks this morning
Chandler#81 Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Wrist?!? Rub some dirt on it! Seriously, the whole season? The Bills did this with Poz's broken arm when he could have returned late in the season. We had to do it, due to the rash of early season injuries. Can't speak to the current level of Bear injuries, but something just doesn't seem right about this..
Ice Cold Bruschi Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Wow, his potential for going to the hof has really gone down the tubes the last few seasons
Doc Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Dislocated wrist, he might need surgery. The report I heard was that he just had surgery.
Rubes Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Holy crap, I didn't see anything about an injury. Two starting LBs in one game? Damn...
IDBillzFan Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Very unfortunate, I hate to see good players with great character have injuries such as this. Well, in fairness, he had a fling with Paris Hilton a while ago, so I wouldn't call it "great" character.
Realist Posted September 14, 2009 Author Posted September 14, 2009 Well, in fairness, he had a fling with Paris Hilton a while ago, so I wouldn't call it "great" character. He could still have great character, just not very smart.
Magox Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Well, in fairness, he had a fling with Paris Hilton a while ago, so I wouldn't call it "great" character. Nothin wrong with get a flat piece of tail.

BillsWatch Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 According to Schefter, the Bears have already been on the phone with Derrick Brooks this morning According to reports they have told him they are going with younger LBs. I guess that is "already been on the phone".
