Pete Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Out oline was finally addressed. We added a bad ass pass rusher in Maybin. We added TO. We added secondary help. And we are healthy. And last years team played hard and was competitive. I for one am optimistic about this team
silvermike Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 I think the 2009 Bills would beat the 2008 Bills, BUT they got lucky to go 7-9 against a much weaker schedule last year.

yall Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 I think the team initially won't be so great, but by the end of the year I bet they are performing at a higher level.
Heels20X6 Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 I think the team initially won't be so great, but by the end of the year I bet they are performing at a higher level. You forgot to add..."because we'll have a new head coach!" *fingers crossed*
26CornerBlitz Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 I think the team initially won't be so great, but by the end of the year I bet they are performing at a higher level. Certainly not beyond the realm of possibility. The only question is will it be too late.
oddoublee Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 I dont really disagree with what you are saying-but I think silvermike is probably right...soft schedule last year was helpful. Again, all your points are correct, but the o-line being addressed doesnt make it better...yet. I think this o-line is gonna need time.
Chandler#81 Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Agree on all points, Pete. However, the addressing of the OLine has yet to be proven- though I'm optimistic. We have improved, both through addition and subtraction (Turk, Dockery). Then again, so did everyone else. Hoping for a good showing tonight. Go Bills!
Big Hurt Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 On paper we are better. But we have no Jason Peters, new OC. Trend is little worse. So I am not sure if this year's team can beat last year's team. But I think we still won't win any division game.
