ExiledInIllinois Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Anybody ever hear this acoustic version of Rock 'n Me?... Sounds VERY much different than the full rock version. Especially at the end where his last words distinctly say: "And the Buffalo Sabres." Then gives a chuckle and the song ends on that. What version is this and why does he say "Buffalo Sabres?"... Did he do it in Buffalo and why before that he says, "Oakland police department." What is up with that? I heard it a numebr of times only on Sirius. Should I have posted this on the Sabres board? Where can I find that version?
ExiledInIllinois Posted September 14, 2009 Author Posted September 14, 2009 I found it on Rhapsody... Released in 1976... Probably explains the Sabres reference: Rock 'N Me '76 Slow For the life of me, I never heard this version before.
