Pitta Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 He agrees that this years "offensive line" has the potential to be so abysmal and suicide inducing that evaluating the quarteback position might not be too accurate. http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post...ds-a-fair-shot
ThereIsNoDog Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 I'm still waiting for that "shocker" on cut down day.
DDD Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 He did write several weeks ago that Bell might replace Walker.
billsfan89 Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 He did write several weeks ago that Bell might replace Walker. True Graham is pretty spot on but I think that if Bell can live up to his potiental and Levitre can improve than the O-line while it will struggle at times won't be as bad as most think they will be.
DarthICE Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Ah the national media starts the Trent excuses already.
Captain Caveman Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 I'm still waiting for that "shocker" on cut down day. You realize he was probably talking about Walker, right?
Realist Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 I think the offensive line will struggle this year, but in years to come if they stay together, they'll be one of our stronger units in a long, long time.
ThereIsNoDog Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 You realize he was probably talking about Walker, right? I guess that would have to be it. Although the mood never seemed "tense" at any time, as if multiple surprise cuts were coming.

Were they picked by this staff? By Modrak and company? Then bet on all of them being with another team or out of the league in 5 years.
Simon Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Were they picked by this staff? By Modrak and company? Then bet on all of them being with another team or out of the league in 5 years. You're just a Trent Edwards excuse machine, ain't ye?
Sanners Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Were they picked by this staff? By Modrak and company? Then bet on all of them being with another team or out of the league in 5 years. Damn, these cuts bled deep huh? So, you must be a huge Shonert and Walker fan huh? Not trying to pick a scab, but tell me what really bothers you?

Unless the FO deems them not a good value when they are in their prime and refuses to pay them the going rate. In which case, they'll be playing elsewhere after we call them "bums." We then draft someone in the 7th round and declare him an OL ingenue and get him ready to play with a little or no experience because he is "affordable." We then sit around clinking our beverage glasses citing how he'll be brilliant in years 3-5. Rinse. Recycle. Repeat.
thewildrabbit Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 IF AVP is smarter then Schonert he won't call a pass play with more then a 3 step drop back, screens, slants and everything but a 5-7 step drop. Try and run the ball more then usual to give Trent some confidence that the offense can work.
