Heitz Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Is anyone watching NFLN? Ocho Cinco gave a dead freaking classic interview - that guy's a little crazy and completely funny... Uh yeah, I'll be watching.
scoring is not hardy Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Who's everyone rooting for? I HATE the Steelers. I hope someone wipes that stupid smile off of Ward's face. The Titans would have stomped them again last year, if they didn't give the Ravens that game.
PopUp Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 NFL season is here!! Of course I'll be watching. Tis the season of doubling up on my blood pressure pills!!
Heitz Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Pittsburgh is running the old school endzones - just white diagonal stripes, no logo, no nothing. There was a great piece on "Steeler Nation" on NFLN. though *I* bleed Red, White and Blue (the good blue too, not that new one), you have to respect the city, fans and the team. I've had enough fun in that town to know there are some good peoples there...
Simon Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Definitely not your imagination. Fisher has football in his marrow and any guy like that has got to be completely geeked to be involved in this game tonight. Hell I'm not involved in any way but I'm still so wound I might even turn on my TV before kickoff and that is a blue moon rarity. I was listening to Fisher on the radio Tuesday and he started off sort of downplaying the whole towel incident. He commented that opening day was big enough and tended to hype players anyway. He said that it was basically a non-factor. Then as he talked of past games, preparation, how big the rivalry was, how the division change seemed not to matter, and how a Steelers game was different than other games he actually became quite animated. Perhaps it was my imagination, but it sounded like he was eager (he tends to be pretty Jauron like in the radio interviews) for the game. This should be an awesome game.
BillsObserver Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Ive been waiting for this game all day!!! I love football no matter who's playing..
Beerball Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 I'm watching, but WTF is with the opening music in the stadium? It's a farking football game ferchrissakes.
Beerball Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Ive been waiting for this game all day!!! I love football no matter who's playing.. Would you consider changing your avatar now that the skoobilicous one is no longer around?
NJ_BillsFan Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Is Tim McGraw a free agent? He throws a mean deep ball! Get er done Ralph!
Kgun5 Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Mike Tomlin sounds like a coach, not a robot like Jauron.
Dr. Fong Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 You guys ready to watch two real teams play?
PushthePile Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Mike Tomlin sounds like a coach, not a robot like Jauron. I agree Mike Tomlin is the man. He is all heart and emotion.
bills44 Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Polamalu >>>>> Whitner. Donte talks the talks, but Polamalu walks the walk
bills44 Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 THAT was run support. I can't see Whitner making a play like that.
scoring is not hardy Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Steelers o-line is bad. They are overrated
notwoz Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 I'm watching because I want to see what good teams look like.
Beerball Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Steelers o-line is bad. They are overrated and yet they are the defending Super Bowl champs.
bills44 Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 It's fun to watch an aggressive defense play.
Heitz Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Steelers o-line is bad. They are overrated they got whooped on that last play, Ben was smart enough to get down though...
