BillsVet Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 If he's healthy, I'm all for him. They need some experience at RT, and certainly on the OL.
Alphadawg7 Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/category/rumor-mill/ Didn't see this posted anywhere...how do we feel about it? I love it...not saying he is the O Line savior, but he is a veteran guy who knows how to play in this league at a high level...having someone like that in our locker room for an O Line made up of so many young guys learning the game would be worth it alone. I dont even care if he starts or is on the bench, just having him around our rookies and Bell will be a big positive...
FluffHead Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 I would hope he plays RT if we sign him
bbillsfan87 Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 we'll sign him to a multi year multi million dollar contract then release him to make way for a UDFA within 3 weeks.
ricojes Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 we'll sign him to a multi year multi million dollar contract then release him to make way for a UDFA within 3 weeks. That's only if they are unable to trade him....
BeastMode54 Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 I would love the signing! Play him at RT in week 2. If we got him, I would move Wood to the LG and Butler back to RG. Getting Runyan will be a longshot, and moving these guys to those spots would be an even bigger one, but let's keep our fingers crossed. GET ER DONE!
Bad Lieutenant Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 This is impossible. Didn't we already establish that Runyan hates Buffalo and no UFA will ever sign with the Bills again because we cut Langston Walker?
Heels20X6 Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 This is impossible. Didn't we already establish that Runyan hates Buffalo and no UFA will ever sign with the Bills again because we cut Langston Walker? No, no, no...he's only visiting the Bills so that he can set his going rate with other teams in the league! DUH!
SDS Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Super. Now we'll have a guy watching Eagles games all by himself on Mondays.
Magox Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 we'll sign him to a multi year multi million dollar contract then release him to make way for a UDFA within 3 weeks. I don't think you were breastfed
Bad Lieutenant Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Didn't Runyan visit the Bills before he signed with Philly about 5 years ago?
bbillsfan87 Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Didn't Runyan visit the Bills before he signed with Philly about 5 years ago? yeah but jason peters told him to go to philly and he'll be there soon.
richNjoisy Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/category/rumor-mill/ Didn't see this posted anywhere...how do we feel about it? If he lands there and passes a physical - tie him to a chair using thick chains until he sign a contract you could say I want him
Coach Tuesday Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 His first choice (from what I've read) is to return to Philly, and they seem to be interested as well. If that's true, we'll have to outbid them, perhaps significantly. This is how our problems typically have started. I'll say this: Levi Jones must be in piss-poor phyiscal shape.
elcrusho Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Jon Runyan is the last player in the NFL who played for the former Houston Oilers.
billybob Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 If he lands there and passes a physical - tie him to a chair using thick chains until he sign a contract you could say I want him I don't want any RT who can be held by mere chains
Buftex Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 No, no, no...he's only visiting the Bills so that he can set his going rate with other teams in the league! DUH! You know...that is a possiblity! FA's had been doing this to the Bengals for years...
