GripnRip Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Pretty good interview, although lots of typical Jauron-speak. Enjoyed hearing his confidence in Aaron Maybin and to hear he has immediate plans for him. - Team has responded well to Van Pelt, plays are the same. - Walkers' performance was not up to expectations and he was not improving. Feels Demetrius gives them a better chance immedietely, against NE. Likes the attitude of the O-line but knows NE will be a strong test. - Offensive Keys vs NE: "Do everything we can not to fuel their fire", work to avoid sacks/turnovers and try to put them on their heels. - Defensive Keys vs NE: "We have to really play well" (im not paraphrasing, thats what he said after sucking the pats d's for a few minutes) - Schobel is healthy and acknowledges his importance. Says Maybin has delivered so far and will be further tested this weekend. Says Maybin is ready for a limited pass-rush role on monday. - AVP and Trent are very close and communicate very well, re-iterated Fitz on the sideline relaying plays. Expects Trent to have a terrific year this year. - TO's health is good, practiced hard for 2 weeks and is ready. Thinks TO has been an outstanding teammate to date, very professional during practice and focused, quiet most of the time. - Never spoke to TO about his history, doesn't plan to have any issues. - Meeting with Ralph in Detroit was to mostly to meet w/ AVP, wanted to sit and get a feel for him as OC.
SDS Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Some producer is going to lose his job over that booking.
John Cocktosten Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 I was listening and I fell asleep. What did he say?
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 HA HA... Let me guess... "They're a good team. We respect their accomplishments. It's hard to win in New England. We're going to try to keep it close and hope it all works out in the end."
Rico Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 DJ on Kelsay: "I don't know if there is a harder working player in the NFL than Chris".
SDS Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 DJ on Kelsay:"I don't know if there is a harder working player in the NFL than Chris". the problem is you didn't see him make the quote gesture with his fingers when he said "player".
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Must have been a great interview after DJ signed off they went right to talking about Pitt and Tenn. Oh and in 12 minutes they never discussed TO according to Adam S.
ACor58 Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 DJ on Kelsay:"I don't know if there is a harder working player in the NFL than Chris". Translation "Nobody works harder and produces less than Chris Kelsay. Chirs Kelsay is so inefficient that he should be a part of the federal government."
DaGimp Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 "Obviously we'd like to play for punts but i'm forced to go for field goals"
John Cocktosten Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 DJ on Kelsay:"I don't know if there is a harder working player in the NFL than Chris". Fox on Peppers: "I don't know if there is a better Defensive End in the NFL"
Chandler#81 Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 OK, so Fitz relays the calls from VP to Trent. What happens if Edwards gets KO'd? Hamden relays to Fitz? What if Hamden is forced into action?
DarthICE Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Some producer is going to lose his job over that booking. LMAO SOSDD from Jauron.
C.Biscuit97 Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Because Belichick's conferences are like Metallica concerts.
CJPearl2 Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Sorry, what did he say? I was listening on the radio in my car, feel asleep, hit a tree and just woke up in the hospital. Is it Tuesday yet? I want the pain to go away.
C.Biscuit97 Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Professional BS er Which NFL coach isn't besides Rex Ryan, who has proved nothing?
nemhoff Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Did he polish the interview off with a golf clap and a sideways gaze up at the scoreboard?
bdelma Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Which NFL coach isn't besides Rex Ryan, who has proved nothing? Its the way DJ says it. He sounds like a lawyer.
Sisyphean Bills Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 And after that they talked about their picks for the weekend, "Bills/Pats?" "This one will probably be over by halftime. Patriots." Donte Playmaker is on later...
