TheLynchTrain Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 the all white O LINE ladies and gentleman bills must be racist
georg793 Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Just got a text message from bills chambers resigned
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 yea they just signed chambers. I hope Chambers got a better deal than he had 2 days ago now that we are so badly in need of tackles...
Erik Flowers Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Gotta be a pre-cursor to another move. We'd have an open roster spot, and no way the team would carry only 7 OLs. Now lets all gather together and hope that we find this same report tomorrow, only with chris kelsay's name substituted in place of Walker. Just clearing room on the roster for another DB.
John from Riverside Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 We are dumping a LOT of salary........Dockery and Walker were making a mint. I actually dont hate Chambers......and I actually LIKE Bell but jesus this all looks like a financial move.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 So basically, they cut Walker because they didn't want to pay him $3 million to be the backup? Yup. It probably was a $$ thing. It's a shame. Walker was a solid RT. Now he's nothing. But hey, maybe we can go out and re-sign Christian Gaddis.
Fingon Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 We are dumping a LOT of salary........Dockery and Walker were making a mint. Chuckknox Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Walker clowns around too much in practice, not focused enough for this year. NEW attitude and NEW locker room leaders this year. Wood is the NEW O-line leader, he's a no-nonsense, all FOCUS in practice.
Chalkie Gerzowski Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 please tell me they have a plan contention for first overall pick in 2010?
stuckincincy Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 I'm sure that'll motivate him to give his all for the team. The Rhodes re-hire concept... If so, BUF will be like the '90's Bengals - the last place on Earth that any vet would sign with.
Thurman#1 Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 moving a rookie from RG to LG who played Center in college is not insane no matter what time of the season it is cutting your LT 6 days before the season is what is insane Both are totally insane. The moves at LG are backwards of the moves at RG. Opposite footwork and opposite handwork. Seriously, if they had done that (switched Wood from RG to LG six days before the season), Wood's agent would have had the chance to make a citizen's arrest on Jauron for stealing Wood's chances his first season. You don't do that to a rookie, you just don't.
JPicc2114 Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Walker is fat and slow. Im glad to see him go.
ricojes Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Just got a text message from bills chambers resigned C-R-A-Z-Y, that's our only alibi....
Reed83HOF Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Both are totally insane. The moves at LG are backwards of the moves at LG.
WellDressed Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Why the hell couldn't he have been moved back to right tackle?? I don't see Butler as being an upgrade over Langston.
JPicc2114 Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Why did they release him in the first place?
bills_fan Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Walker was a decent RT. Not sure why he wouldn't move back to RT if Bell was going to start at LT.
Coach Tuesday Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Ralph has decided that this team is going to finish on the bottom, and is just cutting his losses (and laughing at the season ticket holders whose money is already lining his pocket).
ThereIsNoDog Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 simmons was a premier guard for pitt for many yrs. what is so funny? ne was smart to sign him. he would be a great lg for the bills.he is an emotional leader type. do you have anything substantive to say? or just giggling? Simmons hasn't been a "premier guard," for years predating the usually-career-killing Achilles injury. He also doesn't play tackle.
