DCbillsfan Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 so the Bills only have one returning starter from last year and he is playing a new position for the first time since college im not the biggest Walker fan but this doesnt make any sense...I am a fan of Butlers but he didnt look good at all to me at RT and Levitre doesnt look ready to me at LG...why not put Wood at LG and move Butler and Walker back to the positions they played last year this is going to be a disaster season I'm hoping that they have something in the works. If not, what you said above.
John from Riverside Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Oh, they apparently have a plan (if this is true, but Jasno's a reputable source, so I'll believe it for now). Now, whether it's a good plan ... What you hearing Lori?
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 please tell me they have a plan They have a plan
billybob Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 FO :Hey Walker we are going to move LT Walker :I don't think I can play LT FO: Just do your Best Walker: Yes Sir I'll do my best FO: Walker who said you could play LT, you suck, you're cut
zdro22 Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!! The football move or that this is spinningout of control?? From a football POV this is awful. We have no backup to a BANGED UP Bell. They HAVE to have a move in mind levi jones or jon runyan. If they dont bring in an experience quality starting left tackle this this is purely financially driven and further evidence ralph doesnt want to win, again that is if we dont bring someone in
Bufcomments Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 please tell me they have a plan Jesus.... They better have a plan..... there has to be more to this if it is true I hope Bell is healthy enough to start or they might be looking at Levi Jones if he is still out there.
BUFFALOTONE Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Gotta be a pre-cursor to another move. We'd have an open roster spot, and no way the team would carry only 7 OLs. Now lets all gather together and hope that we find this same report tomorrow, only with chris kelsay's name substituted in place of Walker. Some where there is a DB smiling knowing he has a job.
Buftex Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Wow. No matter how hard I try to drink the Kool-Aid, the Bills smack of a desperate team on their way to a dismal season. The cartwheels of the TO signing seem to have faded quite a bit, huh? I can't believe that this team could through an entire 5 game preseason/training camp, and they still can't put together a friggin' starting offensive line? I just continue to be amazed at the ineptness that has enveloped this franchise... doesn't Tom Donohoe still live in WNY? Why not call him, and ask him to come back?
jimmy griffin Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 they are morons. kendall simmons was avail a couple of days ago-- and new england took him. he is a force. runyan is a RT. unless they move butler to rg and wood to lg -- this move is whacko
John from Riverside Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 My problem with this is Langston is a pretty good RT.......better then who is currently there in my opinion But he MAKES more
dave mcbride Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 I hate to say it - and I generally resist making insults - but this team is a joke.
Simon Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Since they waited to cut him until he had little chance to catch on somewhere else immediately, I'd guess they plan on signing him back to an unguaranteed contract at a reduced rate?
Thurman#1 Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 so the Bills only have one returning starter from last year and he is playing a new position for the first time since college im not the biggest Walker fan but this doesnt make any sense...I am a fan of Butlers but he didnt look good at all to me at RT and Levitre doesnt look ready to me at LG...why not put Wood at LG and move Butler and Walker back to the positions they played last year this is going to be a disaster season....drafting Oher would look even better right now wouldnt it? Because moving a ROOKIE to a new position from the only one he's ever practiced at on the pro level, six days before the start of the season would be certifiably insane, that's why. Even more insane that what they already have done by trading Peters without a functional backup plan.
JJBuffalo Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Why not release him and get rid of Schonert before pre-season so Bell and AVP can get some much needed exp in pre-season. Now they are throwin both of them into the fire @ NE!!!! WTF
ThereIsNoDog Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 they are morons. kendall simmons was avail a couple of days ago-- and new england took him. he is a force. runyan is a RT. unless they move butler to rg and wood to lg -- this move is whacko Kendall Simmons is a force? Much less at OT?
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 I wonder if we can trade and get Jason Peters back now. No matter who they bring in, it's going to be a disaster. No cohesion at all on the o-line, and a brand new guy protecting our QB's blind side? Nice.
Max997 Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Did Levitre play any tackle in college? Levitre played RT in college which is why i thought it was odd they moved him to LG....i thought it would have been more natural for him to move to RG and Wood to move to LG since he played Center in college but this is the Bills, why would anything make sense
26CornerBlitz Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 http://clarkjudge.blogs.cbssports.com/mcc/...384866/17050857 Your plan is Kirk Chambers!!! Sheesh!
silvermike Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 I think Bill Belichick is only going to start 10 players on defense next week. See if it works out about the same.
