cale Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 This is dumb ass. Guy did everything that was asked of him without complaining. Our FO and coaching seem to live the mantra "Put them in positions to fail." Â C
nucci Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 None of these moves make sense without a proper counter-move. This is to the point of embarrassment. The only reason this makes sense w/o another player being acquired is to save money.  Neither Rhodes nor Walker were keeping anyone extremely special off the 53 man roster. And both Rhodes and Walker would at the very least provide some crucial veteran depth at extremely important positions. I would think that Walker would at least have pushed Butler for a job at RT.  What happens if Bell gets injured? What happens if Jackson gets injured? Ugh. The Bills. I thought Bell was injured!
Buftex Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Exactly. This move has to be a precursor to something... Â Â Precursor to a very long, sad season... those 4 Super Bowls seem like a lifetime ago...
ChevyVanMiller Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Wow. No matter how hard I try to drink the Kool-Aid, the Bills smack of a desperate team on their way to a dismal season.
Major Mud Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Wheeeeee, as the merry-go-round spins madly out of control. Well, at least this offseason hasn't been boring ... Kirk Chambers back?.....Levi Jones?....hmmm interesting!
oddoublee Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Odd move with Bell having back problems..must not be serious. Â How much money did we dump into Walker and Dockery? Jeepers....

The Bills.  Someone explain the vet rule to me. Is it vet has to bo roster when the first game is played(thursday at 8), or his team first game, or is it he makes it thru final cuts to 53.  If it is anything but the latter, then this smells like cost cutting.  However, if you take the one thread that says doomed before we start, at least they are trying to make moves
Buftex Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 please tell me they have a plan   The plan is always, keep your fingers crossed and hope something works out for us...
nodnarb Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 How is this even possible? What happens if either Butler or Bell go down? There has to be some other move involved here but even then I'm not sure I get it. Walker is solid! Â Confused
jimmy griffin Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 line: Â bell levitre harg wood butler
Lori Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 please tell me they have a plan Oh, they apparently have a plan (if this is true, but Jasno's a reputable source, so I'll believe it for now). Â Now, whether it's a good plan ...
cale Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 I thought Bell was injured! Â That makes him a great fit to start at the most important position on our OL. He won't be ready at the earliest - Wednesday. Â I didn't think losing Peters was a big deal. But now big JP must be laughing his overpaid/undermature ass off in Philly.
Stevie Ray Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Maybe Dickie caught him snickering about Turk's "Pop Warner" crack.
Warren Zevon Posted September 8, 2009 Author Posted September 8, 2009 Did Levitre play any tackle in college?
dave mcbride Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Wheeeeee, as the merry-go-round spins madly out of control. Well, at least this offseason hasn't been boring ... You mean the last ten days of the offseason hasn't been boring! (Except for TO, of course.)
