IMO, the combination of popularity, moving to CA, and success for Boston's teams this decade have turned Simmons into a smug douchebag (not that he wasn't originally, but it was funnier when he was a nobody). I read both parts 1 and 2 of his Vegas trip and it actually wasn't bad, he must have gotten a kick back from Phillip Morris through for every time he mentioned their product by name. * In the name of fair and balanced coverage, I thought the story about pizza being delivered to the suite when they were drafting was pretty good.
