May Day 10 Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 defending Heisman trophy went down between the turf and a defensive lineman. It doesnt look good. He looks to be in a considerable amount of pain.
May Day 10 Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 i made a thread at the same time. Doesnt look good at all. He is in a lot of pain.
DarthICE Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Hope the kid is OK I doubt it. I have done the exact same thing, the exact same way and it was a a Grade III. I am betting his season is done. bottom line I have never seen OU play this bad outside of the USC Bowl game. Bradford and company should have went pro. When you lose FOUR starters on the OL you go ahead and go pro. This OL can't block S@#$. They will have no chance againse Miami, Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma St, their Defenses are much too strong.
BuffaloRebound Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 i made a thread at the same time. Doesnt look good at all. He is in a lot of pain. The way it looked, he'll be lucky if he only separated the shoulder and didn't break anything.
DarthICE Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 The way it looked, he'll be lucky if he only separated the shoulder and didn't break anything. Could be a broken collarbone as well like Peterson had. Either of those injuries would bring his season to an end.
H2o Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 McCoy the #1 pick if this is serious? Bradford is only a redshirt Junior and might even possibly come back for his Senior year if he's out for an extended period of time.
May Day 10 Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 if it doesnt end, itll still cost Oklahoma a legitimate shot at the big 12 title. If its separated, hell almost surely be out of the Red River Rivalry. OT, nice KR TD by Va Tech.
Alphadawg7 Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 This could be interesting...if he misses season and still goes pro where would he be drafted? Still first round, or does he fall? Could he be stolen in the draft?
DarthICE Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 They are saying an AC joint sprain which is bull s@#$. That = a shoulder separation and if he is in that much pain it is at least a Grade II which means a few weeks out at minimum. By then OU's season may be over.
May Day 10 Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 he is standing there on the sideline. That is a good sign.
Beerball Posted September 6, 2009 Author Posted September 6, 2009 he is standing there on the sideline. That is a good sign. A Dr. (not the team Dr.) said a few weeks. Unless their O-line gets its collective shiit together this is going to be a long night/season for OU.
DarthICE Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 he is standing there on the sideline. That is a good sign. In pain, taped and Iced up in a sling. They wont' know for sure till they get him back and do an MRI. To see him go down in that much pain it is at least a grade II seperation
May Day 10 Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 yeah their backup QB just got waxed also.
DarthICE Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 A Dr. (not the team Dr.) said a few weeks. Unless their O-line gets its collective shiit together this is going to be a long night/season for OU. They are done. This like sucks. I have watched this team my entire life and I have NEVER seen an OU line play this bad. Hell 7 penalties already? Landry Jones the backup damn near got killed too on the last series.
May Day 10 Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 at least the defense looks good. Reynolds is a monster
auburnbillsbacker Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Maybe he will fall to the bills at 11.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Maybe he will fall to the bills at 11. Bradford would never last until #11. Luckily for us, we'll have the #1 overall and our options will be plentiful
DarthICE Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Bradford would never last until #11. Luckily for us, we'll have the #1 overall and our options will be plentiful we are drafting in the top 3 hands down
BuffaloRebound Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 McCoy the #1 pick if this is serious? Bradford is only a redshirt Junior and might even possibly come back for his Senior year if he's out for an extended period of time. McCoy looks like Bruce Smith out there. I can't remember watching a DT make as many plays in the backfield as McCoy tonight. That said, we need a QB.
