Matt in KC Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 (edited) I'm suprised by Chambers. Also, Jenkins makes the team again, joining a large WR group: Owens, Evans, Reed, Johnson, Parrish, Hardy, Jenkins (7). I did think that Syupar would make it, and MacIntyre would be released until I heard the news about Rhodes. Edited September 5, 2009 by Matt in KC
Fingon Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 how the eff does kelsey make this team? there is a reason why we suck. Because Kelsay isn't a bad player.
cåblelady Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 How in the hell does Kelsay stay on this team and we release Copeland Bryan...... I agree, John.
DELLAPELLE JOHN Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 man, cutting copeland bryan idk, i guess they think ellis schobel and maybin can provide edge heat
K-Gun10 Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Wow thats alot of Cb's on roster we are a ST team first
JStranger76 Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Maybe we pick up someone else's cut up and Kelsay still goes.....
Beerball Posted September 5, 2009 Author Posted September 5, 2009 So we wasted a 6th round pick this year on Cary Harris, huh!? FO = joke. I hear he was a personal pick of the head coach.
HurlyBurly51 Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 So is that 11 DBs on the roster? Shocking, no? I'm too lazy, but I wonder if there is any other team in the NFL that carries that number on their 53?
cåblelady Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Maybe we pick up someone else's cut up and Kelsay still goes.....
The Big Cat Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Fellas, we're talking about Copeland F-cking Bryan here.

John Cocktosten Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Because Kelsay isn't a bad player. I think we have a 2009 Buffalo Bills slogan: THE BUFFALO BILLS: OUR PLAYERS AREN'T BAD! what a joke
Fingon Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 I think we have a 2009 Buffalo Bills slogan: THE BUFFALO BILLS: OUR PLAYERS AREN'T BAD! what a joke Why would you cut a pretty good player for no reason?
sharper802 Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Kinda bummed about Bowen. Liked what he showed in preseason last year.Probably didn't come back from the knee injury as well as hoped. Otherwise, no real surprises. Anybody know if Bowen is a possibility at practice squad since he didn't dress last year?
VJ91 Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Alvin Bowen & Copeland Bryan deserved to be on this team. How could they keep Ryan Denny over Bryan? Bryan was constantly around the QB and ball carrier, and Denny barely takes up space whenever he gets on the field! And Alvin Bowen made some monster hits every preseason game. He apperared to be a terrific special teams player at the very least. Aside from those two cuts, at least the preseason is finally over. We'll see what kind of team takes the field a week from Monday night against the Pats. Here's hoping T.O.'s toes last beyond two catches into the regular season.
The Big Cat Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Why would you cut a pretty good player for no reason? Because he doesn't dominate, duh.
sharper802 Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 More than likely one of them will go when Hardy is activated. They need to keep 7 because after they start 1-4 they can shop TO to Minnesota or Chicago
GG Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Usually there shouldn't be much controversy among the final cuts, as the debates should be about which backups should have been kept. But when you cut two guys - Bryan & Stupar who clearly outplayed the starters, then you have to scratch your head. I'm not too worked up about Rhodes as he was at least choice #3 for FA) after Taylor & Jones turned the Bills down, or Chambers, but the other 2 clearly played well enough to earn a roster spot. Maybe Derek Fine can prove me wrong if he can stay healthy for more than a week or Schouman can do ... well, something. It's not to say that Stupar is the second coming, but he's certainly better that who was ahead of him. But hey now AVP gets to rearrange the chairs on ship Wilson.
EC-Bills Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 So we wasted a 6th round pick this year on Cary Harris, huh!? FO = joke. Most likely PS candidate
