KD in CA Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 I thought Brawndo makes the grass grow? It's got electrolytes. It's what floundering offenses crave.
Guest dog14787 Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 On one hand, I'm glad, as Turk was clearly waaaaay out of his element. On the other hand, this is yet more evidence that this club is a floundering joke with no organizational cohesion or direction. Until we have a real GM, sh-- like this will continue to be the norm. Someones showing some balls, I like it.
Major Mud Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Still nothing on ESPN's web site. It has nothing to do with the Patriots, so why would espn care?
Fewell733 Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Still nothing on ESPN's web site. well i just watched them report it on sportscenter
Max997 Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Another cost cutting measure by Wilson? how so when he still has to pay him???
chaser Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Was Schonert fired by Jauron, or is this a Ralph move? It will be interesting to read between Jauron's words this afternoon and decipher his support or lack of support for this move.
Stussy109 Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Someone with even less experience than Turk. The guy at least ran an NFL offense, and worked under Kelly for years. Smart guy wihout the physical attributes. I like the promotion.
Major Mud Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Chan Gailey anyone?....lmao.....and we were laughing at K.C. for doing the same thing. So we have 10 days to put a new offense in or will AVP just run Turks offense ?
Maguire's Beer Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 You mean like Captain Queeg Donahoe? Yes. Just like Donahoe. Because all GMs are just like Tom Donahoe. Scott Pioli and Bill Polian are clearly just like Donahoe. No, we're far better off with the no-accountability, hydra-headed approach.
1billsfan Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 When your first teamers can't score touchdowns in the preseason then there's no reason to think that will all of a sudden change when the real bullets start to fly. Maybe Jauron is finally holding people accountable in his fourth season. Next thing he should do is not hesitate to bench the guys who aren't making plays. Changes like Harris over Ellis, Johnson over Reed and Maybin over Kelsay. Add Edwards to that list of potential benchwarmers. I'm sure there are others. This just might be a fun season to watch if Jauron finally is going to actually be more than the head cheerleader. I still want him gone if he doesn't get the Bills in the playoffs.
DPR4444 Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 I'm just giddy. The purge has begun. BLOOD MAKES THE GRASS GROW!!! I agree! this is the first step in the right direction! DJ is next. Guest dog14787 Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 They should bring on Jim Kelly to be Trents QB coach.
Stussy109 Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 SKooby no longer has his sources deep within
Captain Caveman Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 It's what floundering offenses crave. Like, out of the toilet?
DC Tom Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Van Pelt may do allot better then Shonert With a week to prepare? I doubt it. Don't get me wrong...I'm not going to shed any tears about Schonert leaving. I think this'll be good for Edwards in the long run - it certainly can't be much worse. But why pull this monkey sh-- a week before the season starts???? It should have been done in February. Now...the new OC has to game plan with someone else's broke offensive scheme, and with no time to fix the serious problems with it. There are obvious advantages to dumping Schonert. There are bigger and more obvious advantages to not being total idiots about it.
dollars 2 donuts Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 No one seems to get that points... but I am glad you brought it up! Caine Mutiny, and yes, a good point.
SF Bills Fan Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 This looks so JV. To go through the whole preseason and figure out that the wrong guy was at the helm of the offense? This dooms the beginning of the season at the least.
Major Mud Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 So now what do we scrap the no-huddle? so if we have the same players, same system, just a new OC will anything be different?
