I had a tough time with the status of Lankster and Omon. Those guys may still make the opening season 53 man roster, depending on Hardy and Lynch and what the Bills plan to do with their injury/suspension.

Have at it!!

You're probably right - or very close. And, that makes me sad. Too many names that have failed in the past are still on the team. Honestly, we have a very weak overall roster compared to teams that make the play-offs.

I think Shouman will be cut in favor of Stupar. Other wise you might be right. I do see Lankaster as pratice squad guy and maybe hardy on the Pup list and free up another roster spot.

It sounds dumb, but I have a gut feeling Stupar's going to make the team.

I like Stupar, as well, but this is the Bills FO/coaching staff we're talking about here. IMO, I'd have Stupar on the team instead of Fine.

Who is a better blocker Fine or Schouman Because with Nelson you need at least 1 blocker on the team at tight end.

The coaches, from what I've read, are very high on Schouman even though he gets blown up regularly. If Stupar somehow stays, Fine's gotta be the odd man out, no?

Fine is the best blocker of the TEs. Schouman is the starter.

I think Hardy stays on PUP & Omon stays at least until Lynch is back. McIntyre may get another try at carrying the ball tomorrow to see if he's worth keeping. As others have said, they could keep a 4th TE if McIntyre is cut. Likely one or the other.

Since we know the Bills Mgmt is stubborn with the 3 "motor' guys at DE in Schobel, Denney & Kelsay, I would still like them to keep both Ellis & C.Bryan but I think they can only afford to keep 5 DEs. LBs and safeties usually fill out the roster for special teams.

I guess unless Stupar goes to the practice squad but is he eligible to do that?

I see Buggs on the PS and not the 53 man roster and Wendling making the roster for his ST play. JMO

Leave it to Kelsay and Schouman to f**k the roster up. ;):thumbdown: Wish both of these stiffs were soooo outta here.

Got some bad news dude.

Linkage

Look for Schouman to see the field a lot this year. The Bills like to use two-tight end formations. Schouman could be considered No. 1A at tight end. Second-year man Derek Fine is No. 1B. They will probably get a similar number of snaps this year, although Fine currently is out with a sore hamstring. Waiting in the wings is rookie fourth-round draft pick Shawn Nelson, who is being groomed to be the starter some day. The odds are that day won't come this season.

Schouman is the starting TE and there's no way Lankster makes it through waivers. JMO

If Omon doesn't block well on blitzes tonight he will be cut and mcintyre will stay. If Omon does block well he will hold off mcintyre until Lynch returns.

I can't imagine what it must be like to be one of those guys dreading a knock on the door from the "turk". To get as far as they have, most would have had to have dedicated themselves to the sport at least since High School if not since little league. It takes singlemindedness and tremendous focus to get to to an NFL camp. Imagine what it must be like to have it all come to an end with a knock on the door, a career over and done with in your 20's. Harsh.
