LGB Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Historically, teams that have had a good camp and pre-season usually rest their starters after a series or two, but since the Bill's offense has been either really bad or not showing their hand, how long does the first team play? If the coaching staff has done their job and prepared the team, then the starters should probably not be put at risk of injury in some meaningless game and we can all forget about this forgettable pre-season.
cmjoyce113 Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I am guessing that only the Offensive line will play and that will be for a short time. Knowing Dick Jauron he will suit everyone up and no starters will take the field. I will be shocked if any of the starting skill guys get snaps. I don't have the exact quote but Mitchell tweeted on Sunday that thank god the preseason was over now they can prepare for New England even though they still have Detroit.
crazyDingo Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I think I read Dick was giving everyone the day off to rest their legs.
