sharper802 Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Jesus they can't even get the right equipment..... Maybe the lady at Payless can be the next equipment mananger
Albany,n.y. Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 In other words, "I'm too old for this pre-season shiit"
vincec Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I call B.S. on this. Wearing the wrong shoe for one game causes a sprain that keeps you out 4 weeks??? I doubt it...

I don't, I'm sure T.O. knows what he's talking about, some shoes probably give you better support then others. TO probably went to push off and sprained his toe because he's a big man with tremendous power, a stiffer shoe may prevent this from happening. He has no reason to lie about it.
crazyDingo Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Maybe he accidentally wore Trentative's 4-inch heels. Hahaha!
Fan in San Diego Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I'll translate for you Wrong shoe = I dont want to play in meaningless games, wake me up for the regular season

More ankle support, yeah? More toe support? I've never heard of anything like this, and frankly it doesn't sound right. Wrong shoe, maybe. Wrong shoe causing the injury .... doubt it.
Wilson from Gamehendge Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 He probably talked to Bruce Smith in Canton...and Brucey told him training camp and pre-season is overrated.
Jerry Christ Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 See I said it when it happen, he just doesn't want to be out there in pointless games and some practices. That's just TO
BuffaloWings Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I'll translate for you Wrong shoe = I dont want to play in meaningless games, wake me up for the regular season That just means he's been talking to Favre.
judman Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Hey, I have had bad shoes before, they really hurt. And not being at work gave me more time to make sure the diamonds on my ear glistened brightly.

Wrong shoe, maybe. Wrong shoe causing the injury .... doubt it. The shoe would have a less flexible sole, I'm not sure it would even be that noticeable.
DC Tom Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Wrong type of shoe for a type of field he's not used to, maybe...
Guest dog14787 Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Wrong type of shoe for a type of field he's not used to, maybe... True that, traction could play a major role.
