Beerball Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Link Somehow his passion and intensity have not been sapped in his time with Buffalo.
Bill from NYC Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 LinkSomehow his passion and intensity have not been sapped in his time with Buffalo. He seems like a great guy. If he was 30 pounds heavier, imagine what he could do against the run!
Beerball Posted August 31, 2009 Author Posted August 31, 2009 Give it time. Have you recapped your onsight opinions vs. the Steelers? Looking forward to reading what you saw.
Buffalo Mike1 Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 LinkSomehow his passion and intensity have not been sapped in his time with Buffalo. Would like to see him take Kyle Williams spot>>>
Chandler#81 Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 I believe the interior of the DLine is a strength of this team and it carries on to Poz's play. They've been pretty solid vs. the run since Stroud came aboard. If new hand-fighting techniques get them closer to the QB, it's all good from there.
Lofton80 Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 He got knocked on his tail a few times Saturday night. I have not noticed his presence as much as the writer. He seems like a great guy. If he was 30 pounds heavier, imagine what he could do against the run!
Magox Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 He's looked pretty good.... against 2nd stringers

Imo, the DTs other than Stroud are average joes, and not at all stout against the run. For all we know Poz would develop into a star behind a solid interior line.
Thoner7 Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 I really like him at LDE. He will line up there sometimes and I really like what I see. Denney actually isnt that bad either...they both are much better than Kelsay
ans4e64 Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 He's looked pretty good.... against 2nd stringers He plays against 1st stringers as well.
ans4e64 Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Would like to see him take Kyle Williams spot>>> No way. Kyle is still lightyears ahead of any other DT on the roster not named Stroud.
Wilson from Gamehendge Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 LinkSomehow his passion and intensity have not been sapped in his time with Buffalo. and again...
billybob Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Last year I thought he sucked but he has looked better this preseason for what it's worth.
Beerball Posted August 31, 2009 Author Posted August 31, 2009 and again... Schnookems...you seem to have a personal vendetta against me. Why is this so? Many folks skip the front page and come directly here. I'll tell you something you already know, but choose to ignore...already read it? Skip it. Really an easy concept. (I think I posted this before it was on the front page, but that doesn't really matter does it? It's Bills related and I chose to link it.)
BuffaloBill Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 He got knocked on his tail a few times Saturday night. I have not noticed his presence as much as the writer. Perhaps because it is Brown's job to cast sunshine on the outhouse that this team is. Everything may look quaint according to his words but the stink is still there.

Johnson was thought to pair with him when we signed him via FA. Instead, Williams stepped up last year and earned the starting spot -such as it is, with rotation- but S. Johnson gave a credible account of himself, IMO. The respectable league ranking isn't a back-handed statement of a terrible pass defense, but more to a weak pass rush. Again, my opinion, but if McCargo ever takes the next step and goes from 'flashes' to powerful consistency, our interior D is pretty strong.
