Beerball Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 games the Bills TO margin is -34. It's no wonder the team is 2-13 over those same games. DB has been sacked 53 times over the same span. Blame the offense, they deserve it, but a win Sunday night will only be accomplished if the D comes through with at least 1 huge play. Part of being -34 is not creating your own turnovers. Protect the ball on offense, pound Willis, keep the pats D guessing. On defense be ready for the dink and dunk. There will be very few chances to hit brady. He gets rid of the ball too damn quick. Make the receivers pay. There will be a ton of 5 yard passes...no YAC and make the receivers pay. When you do get them in third and long let er fly boys. The pats will be geared up to stop the run which is a change over past games where DB was the focus. What does that mean for our passing game? Will play action be effective right away? My guess is yes, if DB can execute. Sometimes play action seems to bore Drew. He has to sell it on Sunday. Feerless prod the bear prediction...the worm continues to turn...Bills 24 pats 17.
Berni Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 I hope the Bills don't try to exploit the Patriots' weakness in the secondary and rely on the passing game only.
