billsfan_34 Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Ok everyone, first rd of cuts are closing in. Who is the first 15 to go. Your list does not need to be in any particular order. I just think it will be fun to reflect in a few days and see how many we are right on and how many we are wrong. I will post my 15 a little later.
FluffHead Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 They have to be made today, correct? When will we know?
Turn Down For Watkins Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 They have to be made today, correct? When will we know? I'm pretty sure they have to be made before Tuesday

georg793 Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 I would like to see us keep schobel for another year. But kelsey can get the boot.
billybob Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 many of the same guys, I do hope DT Derek Jones makes the team. 1) QB Matt baker 2) Rb Bruce Hall 3) Wr Felton Huggins 4) Wr Cj Hawthorn 5) Te Derek Fine 6) Te Travis Mccall 7) LB Ryan Manalac 8) Ol Nick Hennessey 9) De Chris Kelsey 10)DB Lydell Sargeant 11) Lb Pat Thomas 12) Lb Solomon Elimimian 13)Lb Ashlee Palmer 14)Fs Ko Simpson 15 Safty John Wendling

I'll look for your post - but - right now I don't even think it matters. We have 2nd stringers on NFL Play-Off caliber teams starting for the Bills - it's sad.

Dont know about Ko...I think he hangs on until the second rd.
jwws9999 Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 I would like to see us keep schobel for another year. But kelsey can get the boot. than tell schoebel to take a 75 percent pay cut or hit the bricks. the guy is a loser and brings a losing attitude to the defense
'64 Bills Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 I agree but we got what we got you're right - - like it or not - - somebody's got to go from the roster. I really don't know anymore who judges talent for the Bills. I imagine it's a "group" effort and that means it becomes political - -everyone likes their own picks. GO BILLS!
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 1) QB Matt baker2) Rb Bruce Hall 3) Wr Justin Jenkins 4) Wr Cj Hawthorn 5) Te Derek Fine 6) Te Travis Mccall 7) Tackle Chris Denman 8) Ol Nick Hennessey 9) De Chris Kelsey 10)Dt Derrick Jones 11) Lb Pat Thomas 12) Lb Solomon Elimimian 13)Lb Ashlee Palmer 14)Fs Ko Simpson 15 Safty John Wendling I applaud you for putting together a list; I wouldn't be able to do it with all the camp fodder on the current roster. To nit-pick your list a little, I thought I had heard that we were high on Pat Thomas--he might even be the 2nd string MLB. But I could be wrong. And I think Wendling makes the team due to ST contributions. My "surprise" cut is Youboty.
billybob Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 than tell schoebel to take a 75 percent pay cut or hit the bricks. the guy is a loser and brings a losing attitude to the defense That's pretty harsh- Schobel is an undersized guy who has lost a step- I would not agree that he is a loser, just not good enough to justify his salary, sports are cruel but you make big bucks that's the trade off.

billsfan_34 Posted August 30, 2009 Author Posted August 30, 2009 i've been down on the guy for years, his sacks have always come at garbage time, and i've never felt he added any leadership or fire to the defense Hence the reason he has never been a captain.
