manbeast Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 John Clayton was just on ESPN and said that after he has spoken with many people around the leauge and some Dr.s about the hit Haynesworth put on Brady he believes that this injury may be much more serious than New Englandis letting on. Man would it be nice to have him miss the opener. I would rather play them at full strength
DCbillsfan Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 I've torn my rotator cuff and labrum twice...once during HS baseball and again playing football in college. Both injuries mirrored what happened to Brady last night - arm extended, landing on the side. Not to mention, I was only diving on both occasions...I didn't have Albert Haynesworth landing on top of me. Landing on your arm the way Brady did is the easiest way to dislocate your shoulder. If he even has a minor tear he will be placed on the PUP...major tear = IR. When I saw the replay I was thinking dislocated shoulder as well
GR8PRKN Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 NO! I want a healthy Tom Brady week one. I don't want Pats* fans to have any, repeat ANY excuse to cheapen our impending victory. EXACTLY I want to beat them fully loaded... Like I will be after we win..
ganesh Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 EXACTLY I want to beat them fully loaded... Like I will be after we win.. Small steps.....Let us beat them first without Brady (Something we failed to do last season) and then with Brady....
sharper802 Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Did you see his stats before he got knocked out? A 75% healthy Brady wipes his arss with our defense
nobody Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Let me help out here Go to the Patriots offical Website, the fans are buzzing about the same topic http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Biggs-...-backup-QB.html http://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patrio...-fan-forum.html http://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patrio...ts-letting.html I count 8 threads that say he is hurt! How many are full of comments complaining about how there already was a thread on the topic?
Kipers Hair Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 best we could hope for is a 0-0 tie then....We can't move the ball
Pneumonic Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Pencil neck Clayton knows didley squat. Brady's fine. CLICK HERE
iinii Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 i want brady to play. i also want the first offensive play for the pats to be a sack, with brady getting torn apart by our two DEs hitting him. i want his shoulder to rip clean off, his knee to turn to marmalade and for him to die of aids on the cart going off the field. not just any aids, exploding aids, the kind that will take billicheck and about 12 other pats out with him, and 5000 fans. And I thought I was the only one who hated the Pats that much
iinii Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 When I saw the replay I was thinking dislocated shoulder as well [/quote I once played a doctor on t.v. and my initial diagnosis was much the same
zazie Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 WOW. Even if he did sit the opener their season would still end up with a winning record. 2 wins against the bills almost certain. Can't someone tackle and injure DJ???
Beerball Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Brady he believes that this injury may be much more serious than New Englandis letting on. Required * missing...buh bye NO! I want a healthy Tom Brady week one. I don't want Pats* fans to have any, repeat ANY excuse to cheapen our impending victory. predicting the # of wins is probably beneath you, but you're still *g*o*n*e* I totally respect your opinion, but we haven't beaten these guys since 2003. That's six friggin years ago. I'll take a win against some UFL scrub at this point. Even if Brady is out, there's still 52 other guys that have beaten the Bills since 2003, but it definitely gives us a little better edge. *gone I'd rather that Brady play and be a little off on his throws- sometimes the rest of the team rise to the occasion with a #2 in there. *gone* I'll second that, lets beat them without Brady first which we couldn't even do last year, then go at them in our house with Brady back. bad dog *gone* I think we still lose. This game has nothing to do with Brady, or any of the players for that matter. It is Belicheat vrs Dick. Dick loses every time. marginal...belicheat counters the missing ****** DON'T DO IT AGAIN! The pats don't have 5000 fans. They have about 500 hardcore fans that date back to 1960. They can live.. the rest of the bandwagoners can go root for the bruins after the pats and sox are out of it. *gone again* I agree with some posters that I want to see the Bills play against Brady. That way we can judge how good this pass rush really is. If we did manage to beat them up there without Brady I will take it because the bottom line is 1-0 But it would not be the same IMO. A 27-24 victory against Brady is much different than say a 20- 7 without him. It would give the Bills more confidence if they beat them with all the weapons they have. *gone*
Beerball Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Let me help out here Go to the Patriots offical Website, the fans are buzzing about the same topic *make that *8* seasons *gone* Yeah, but I doubt these Bills can beat them even without Brady, so the loss would hurt that much more. *gone* Anyboday else find it fuuny that the banner ad on the Pats site(2nd link) is for Wisteria! I'm telling you that is some kind of catalog my wife gets...I would be embarrased if I frequentedthat site LOL et tu plenz? *gone* Small steps.....Let us beat them first without Brady (Something we failed to do last season) and then with Brady.... *gone* Did you see his stats before he got knocked out? A 75% healthy Brady wipes his arss with our defense *gone* Pencil neck Clayton knows didley squat. Brady's fine. *gone* And I thought I was the only one who hated the Pats that much *gone* even though I like your sentiments
