CodeMonkey Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 My heart says take the Bills but my head says 10.5 points is simply not enough
GOBILLS78 Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Considering the Bills' stout run defense and their relentless pressure of the quarterback, I find it hard to believe the Patriots would score 10 points.
joey greco Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Gotta double that number to make it even a consideration.
KD in CA Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 That line is seriously making me consider opening on on-line betting account.
Rico Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 After losing my shirt on the Bills-Giants SB, I no longer bet on any Bills games... but only 10.5 pts, wow.
DaBills51 Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 10.5 points in the beginning of the season is like 20 mid-season. There are always too many question marks for the first couple games to justify huge spreads. I would go with the Patriots -10.5 since it's in New England on Monday Night. I have faith in the no-huddle but that will be a tough first test with the crowd noise. However, the Bills have lost by more than 7 only once in the past 4 years while at NE.
thebug Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 After losing my shirt on the Bills-Giants SB, I no longer bet on any Bills games... but only 10.5 pts, wow. Oh I'm betting the house!
Blaise321 Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 I'm not much of a gambler but this may be too hard to resist.
CodeMonkey Posted August 30, 2009 Author Posted August 30, 2009 Hmmm maybe I better make my bet now before the odds makers see this game and make an adjustment to the line.
Robert Paulson Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 After losing my shirt on the Bills-Giants SB, I no longer bet on any Bills games... but only 10.5 pts, wow. same here- my quote before the game " money in the bank"
Conch Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 New England 45Buffalo 6 Mark that down. You are way too optimistic
KD in CA Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 same here- my quote before the game " money in the bank" Wasn't Buffalo giving a full 7 in that game? Against the #1 D in the league and a team they had only beaten by 3 a month earlier? Boy, if this line drops a little over Brady's uncertainly, this could really be a steal.
Dr. Fong Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Seems like a friggin lock at this point. Unfortunately the Patriots are going to blow out the Bills. I can just feel it.
Kipers Hair Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Right about now....I think ESPN is pissed that the BIlls are on the docket for the Monday night opener...they are a dog - if not for Terrell Owens - what would the story line be - Jouron on the Hot seat?

BLZFAN4LIFE Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 i would take pats -13.5 ... and that's just the first quarter.
