Pilsner
Watching Indy on NFL channel and Manning is so smooth with the ball. His fakes aren't those half assed hold the ball at arm's length close to the RB fakes that I see from Buffalo. All you have to do is get 1/2 of a mis-step by a defender for the receiver to break open. By the time a qb makes it to the NFL level he should already know the importance of the fake hand-off. It's so easy to do they shouldn't even have to be coached to do it in the pros. All it takes is simple discipline. It's easy enough to coach in HS. The only possible reason i can think of that qb's don't do a decent job of it in the pros is if they are in a huge rush to get set up for the pass. Either that or they are just plain lazy. But honestly, anyone smart enough to play qb in the nfl should very well know the importance of a good fake. I've seen HS qb's do better fakes than a lot of pro qb's. what gives? I'm still stumped by this. Anyone have any insight on this? much appreciated.
