Interesting sidenote, the clock doesn't reset on the do-over. So, if a team is up 2 on Dallas with 2:00 to go, and Dallas forced a punt, I would just keep kicking the ball into the scoreboard until the game is over. The competition committee has to address this, but so far they have not addressed it.

I think it does say that time is reset.

Your gunners would rip your leg out of its socket after the second one.

Oh, I'd inform them before hand that I planned to hit it each time. They could even casually meander while I do so.

Exactly! No penalties except personal fouls. Can they call an unsportsmanlike foul on that?

The article says that the clock will reset:

 

"the clock will reset to the time reflected before the "do over." (And that makes sense; otherwise, a team with the lead could have told its punter to slam the ball into the video board over and over again.)"
