BillsGuyInMalta Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 I'd keep kicking the ball into the screen until it breaks.
bills_fan Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Interesting sidenote, the clock doesn't reset on the do-over. So, if a team is up 2 on Dallas with 2:00 to go, and Dallas forced a punt, I would just keep kicking the ball into the scoreboard until the game is over. The competition committee has to address this, but so far they have not addressed it.
angrygnome Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 This reminds me of playing two-hand touch football in the street when I was a kid. If it hit a branch or utility wire it was a do-over. Ah, memories.
Beerball Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 I'd keep kicking the ball into the screen until it breaks. Your gunners would rip your leg out of its socket after the second one.

BillsGuyInMalta Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Your gunners would rip your leg out of its socket after the second one. Oh, I'd inform them before hand that I planned to hit it each time. They could even casually meander while I do so.
RVJ Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Read some of these posts....pretty funny http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/...ys-video-board/
ExiledInIllinois Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Oh, I'd inform them before hand that I planned to hit it each time. They could even casually meander while I do so. Exactly! No penalties except personal fouls. Can they call an unsportsmanlike foul on that? What a joke the NFL is!
FloridaSnow Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Exactly! No penalties except personal fouls. Can they call an unsportsmanlike foul on that? What a joke the NFL is! The article says that the clock will reset: "the clock will reset to the time reflected before the "do over." (And that makes sense; otherwise, a team with the lead could have told its punter to slam the ball into the video board over and over again.)"
