ofiba Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 Regardless if the ref's had any impact at all on any of the games the bills have won or lost, what good is it going to do to complain about it now? If any Patriots fan claimed that they lost a game because of the refs, we would keep saying how pathetic it was for them not even being able to accept a loss. Bottom line is, it looks pathetic for us to claim that the bills lost the game because of the refs. Give it up and hope the Bills win on Sunday!
CajunBillsBacker Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 I see your point, but I can't really blame anyone for complaining, it has happened way to many times to NOT think there is a theory behind it. It seems like every season, after atleast two Bills games, the refs admit to blown calls. At first it just pissed me off, but since 1998, it's been so rediculously obvious that it's almost laughable.
ofiba Posted November 11, 2004 Author Posted November 11, 2004 I'm not saying the Bills haven't gotten their fair share of bad calls. I am just saying it makes Bills fans look bad when all we have to say is "Yeah well we would have won but the ref's didn't let us." We've got a sore loser's mentality. Whether it's justified or not, it's not very becoming.
Simon Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 It's a wonderful sentiment ofi, but it's never ever going to happen. I just try to tune it out and never open refwhining threads. Cya
Thurman's Helmet Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 Every team benefits from calls and every team gets screwed by calls, thats human nature. its been said many times before, the good teams find ways to overcome that, the bad ones whine about it.
