Lothar Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Let's hope this isn't serious ... Bills OT Demetrius Bell has been carted off the field. He didn’t appear to be in any serious discomfort, but he’s been taken to the training room. http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2009/08/24/bell-carted-off/

Let's hope this was just a precautionary move.

Coach Tuesday Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 For a franchise with such a small margin of error, they sure seem to have horrible luck.

K-9 Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Schobel not practicing today. I'm pretty sure he's been cut. GO BILLS!!!
Lothar Posted August 24, 2009 Author Posted August 24, 2009 I'm pretty sure he's been cut. GO BILLS!!! Aaron Schobel has an elbow injury according to head coach Dick Jauron. “Aaron has an elbow and it may keep him out for a little while here,” said Jauron. “We don’t think it will be a problem long, long term, but it could be a week or so, maybe more than that.” That would rule Schobel out for Saturday’s preseason game in Pittsburgh, and possibly the preseason finale against Detroit the following Thursday. More on this story on the home page later this afternoon.

I have NO problem with him sitting out the rest of the pre-season if his elbow injury means he has to. He's a consumate pro and will be prepared for the opener. GO BILLS!!!
R. Rich Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Pittsburgh...hope our O-line is ready. Good thing I'm going to see that one, huh?
Acantha Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Good thing I'm going to see that one, huh? So in other words, this is your fault.
DaBills51 Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Sadly, all that this means is Jonathan Scott will be on the 53 man roster if Bell isn't ready to go. Hopefully its nothing serious.
scoring is not hardy Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 He was probably the first tackle to feel the wrath of Maybin. Maybe it was good that he missed some time, we don't want him to injure all our linemen.
nucci Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 I read somewhere that Jones still cannot pass a physical Doesn't matter. Some here still think he is a Pro Bowl tackle and want him signed no matter what.
