Brand J Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 It's a good thing that this team is getting pasted in a preseason game. Hopefully they will iron out many of the mistakes that caused this debacle - like Trent Edwards: DONT wait to throw the ball after the WR makes his break. Anticipation of routes as well as field vision, needs to be greatly improved.
TheChimp Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 The Bills can't compete with big market teams like Green Bay. hehehe
LABills08 Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 It should be noted that when your QB completes 7/11 passes and has thrown for less than 50 yards, thats a problem. Â It should also be noted that when your top 2 leaders in tackles are safeties, that is a problem too. Â sh--.
bladiebla Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 At least the forum will be in overdrive mode this week, plenty of whining, crying and complaing to discuss...
LABills08 Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 The Bills overpay more than they underpay. It ain't money, it's the quality of the people making the player decisions and the coaching on the field. Â Examples that don't include Dockery or Kelsay?
Brand J Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 You know your team has poor leadership when your most vocal player on D (Donte Whitner)...complains on his facebook about fans ripping him on message boards. But hey, at least he knows Jauron is always there for him if he needs a shoulder to cry on. Â Donte Whitner is merely a body on the field, nothing more. Again, Haloti Ngata would have looked better than great in Bills colors.
Erik Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 Since win did UFL teams play against NFL teams in the preseason? Honestly, we dont even belong on the same field.. This was beyond disappointing.. I can handle a bad preseason game. But one where your first team is dominated by a team that was not very good last year? Raji looked darn good for Green Bay.. It's also torture living in D.C. and seeing Orkapo play fairly well for Washington. Who know whats Maybin will be but GB and the Skins look like they may have done well with their first picks (I know it's early). Then there's us. 4 picks in the first two rounds, two don't even play, and the other two are part of an Oline that was DOMINATED.. Man I'm disappointed... as usual  I would have loved to have Raji but he went before us...not much we could have done about that.
Sisyphean Bills Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 It still rankles me that some newspaperman called Trent, "Captain Checkdown".
TheChimp Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 At least the forum will be in overdrive mode this week, plenty of whining, crying and complaing to discuss... Oh but I'm looking forward to the self-righteous blowhards who pour their disdain on their fellow fans because they can't seem to grow the ballhair necessary to criticise the actual team. I love THOSE guys.
crazyDingo Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 Examples that don't include Dockery or Kelsay? Jauron
Kelly the Dog Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 Examples that don't include Dockery or Kelsay? Evans at 9 mil a year, Schobel at 50 mil 2-3 years before his deal was up for starters.
GOBILLS78 Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 Oh but I'm looking forward to the self-righteous blowhards who pour their disdain on their fellow fans because they can't seem to grow the ballhair necessary to criticise the actual team. I love THOSE guys. Â Because it takes serious courage to criticize the team on a fan site message board.
Adam Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 I would have loved to have Raji but he went before us...not much we could have done about that. Could have gotten Peria Jerry- who will be a studd for Atlanta
BuffaloRebound Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 It's a good thing that this team is getting pasted in a preseason game. Hopefully they will iron out many of the mistakes that caused this debacle - like Trent Edwards: DONT wait to throw the ball after the WR makes his break. Anticipation of routes as well as field vision, needs to be greatly improved. Â It's a function of his arm strength and our midget WR's. Edwards is not a QB who can thread the needle. Owens is this offense's only hope. If Owens stays healthy, he is going to have a huge year.
TheChimp Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 That kinda works out to a million per catch and 50 million per sack.
Marv Levy Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 Say hello to 4 and 12 this season. What a fcking joke!
TheChimp Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 Because it takes serious courage to criticize the team on a fan site message board. No, not much at all. So knowing that, how teeny can your balls be when you're afraid to do even that?
BillsVet Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 I thought this team was one of the most disciplined penalty wise in the NFL. Apparently that doesn't kick in yet. Special teams haven't been all that special this season.
