Captain Caveman Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Billistic: Completely unrelated, but your avatar is the lovechild of Bill Murray and Lee Harvey Oswald, right?
Billistic Posted August 22, 2009 Author Posted August 22, 2009 I'm arguing nothing other than you're completely wrong about the San Diego game. Keep putting words in other people's mouths (or on their keyboards?) to suit your agenda, though. OK, you win. Edward's decent game against the Chargers completely belies the notion that the Bills passing game in 2008 was impotent. BTW, did you understand most of the words in the thread title and subtitle?
generaLee83 Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 James Hardy averaged 1 TD reception per 4.5 catches. Pretty sick number if you ask me.
Omar Little Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 OK, you win. Edward's decent game against the Chargers completely belies the notion that the Bills passing game in 2008 was impotent. BTW, did you understand most of the words in the thread title and subtitle? Wow, you're doing it again. Are you just bad at understanding what you read? Did you notice how I only argued about the San Diego game and didn't say word one about the other performances you mentioned? What does that tell you? I'll spell it out for you: I agree with your point with the exception of the Chargers game.
Billistic Posted August 22, 2009 Author Posted August 22, 2009 Billistic: Completely unrelated, but your avatar is the lovechild of Bill Murray and Lee Harvey Oswald, right? Sorry, CC, but the av's identity is classified. Only the literati know.
Omar Little Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Billistic: Completely unrelated, but your avatar is the lovechild of Bill Murray and Lee Harvey Oswald, right? It's Jack Kerouac.

Billistic Posted August 22, 2009 Author Posted August 22, 2009 It's Jack Kerouac. Much better, you dahrma bum, you!
transient Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Edwards numbers for the games you initially referred to add up to an average QB rating of 102.5 with 8 TDs vs 2 INTs, and an average completion percentage of 70.2. He had two fumbles recovered by the opponent. This was admittedly against what turned out to be poor teams, but hardly sloppy. I would take those numbers averaged out for an entire season.
Billistic Posted August 22, 2009 Author Posted August 22, 2009 James Hardy averaged 1 TD reception per 4.5 catches. Pretty sick number if you ask me. One is the loneliest number one
Billistic Posted August 22, 2009 Author Posted August 22, 2009 I would take those numbers averaged out for an entire season. Good point. How about the QB numbers for THE NINE FREAKIN' LOSES? Forget the 49ers, Browns and Patriots?
Magox Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Hey! Where's Apha? I thought he'd be here doing his best modern day Louis IX impersonation.
Captain Caveman Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 It's Jack Kerouac. Actually, that makes perfect sense. Bill Murray + Lee Harvey Oswald = Jack Kerouac.
Captain Caveman Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 And Billistic, I've read Kerouac, although I didn't recognize his picture. I much prefer HST.
Billistic Posted August 22, 2009 Author Posted August 22, 2009 Actually, that makes perfect sense. Bill Murray + Lee Harvey Oswald = Jack Kerouac. It's enough that it makes sense to you. Don't stretch...

SDS Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 HOF on first ballot, right there. Never mind the puke-ish outings versus the 49ers, Dolphins and Patriots during the total season collapse. Selective Memory Syndrome strikes again. if this is an example of how you respond to other posters, then I can see why there are so many complaints.
