Anyway I`d sit him out the rest of pre-season to let this heal up real good. He won`t forget how to play. I think Trent will get enough time with him the week before the opener. Think of it like a hamstring strain . If it`s turf toe,I think he`s screwed. Hopefully he`s just playing hookey. This injury ended many a career. Jack Lambert comes to mind .
