nuklz2594 Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 in retrospect i think signing edgerrin james for a year, rather than signing rhodes, would have been a good idea.
Lori Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 Obviously, since James is currently unemployed, 32 NFL teams' front offices disagree with the thought expressed in the original post.
nuklz2594 Posted August 21, 2009 Author Posted August 21, 2009 once lynch is back, rhodes won't see much playing time. i am intrigued by omon.
nucci Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 in retrospect i think signing edgerrin james for a year, rather than signing rhodes, would have been a good idea. Why?
loyal2dagame Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 in retrospect i think signing edgerrin james for a year, rather than signing rhodes, would have been a good idea. edge has way more miles on the treads to the point that if you kick the tire it may bust.
Captain Caveman Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 Biggest problem with this idea: James actively sought his release from AZ because he felt he was a starter. He's probably not interested in coming here to sit behind ML.
rafter Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 in retrospect i think signing edgerrin james for a year, rather than signing rhodes, would have been a good idea. The only thing I noticed about Edge's play since joining AZ is how slow he is. He seems to have lost his speed, burst, and cutback abilitiy..

Tcali Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 The only thing I noticed about Edge's play since joining AZ is how slow he is. He seems to have lost his speed, burst, and cutback abilitiy.. hes got lots of miles on him...those RBs have a relatively short shelf life..like LBs
H2o Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 once lynch is back, rhodes won't see much playing time. i am intrigued by omon. I think Omon looks like he's taken one of the largest steps forward out of any of the players in the preseason. He's hitting the holes with authority and keeping his legs moving through the piles. The guy looks alot better than last year, that's for sure.
