Tarantino's Favorite Movies

Interesting list. Clearly he likes the martial art flicks but some good picks in there. "Shaun Of The Dead" and "Team America" are my personal favs. Not sure where his head is at with the "Friday" pick. I know he did go kinda wigger back in the 90's.

Anyway, Netflix queue just got a lot longer, and more eclectic. :censored:

Crap, sorry for no link. Here it is.

Excellent choice!

Is it a martial arts movie? I mean, with a title like "Battle Royal" I suppose it is. I read the outline at Netflix and it looked like it may be. Not really into those. If its not i'll rent it

A also always call M. Night Shyamalan, "M. Night Shamalama Ding Dong", too.

And Dante did a good job by not simply copying the list on the youtube vid that lists #4 as "Blade". He was right to call it "The Blade" also known as "Dao"

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0112800/

And, no, I have not seen it.

I was surprised, no mention of a Chan-wook Park or Andrew Lau & Alan Mak films

Hey Dao, you can check out Surveillance tomorrow. I've only seen bits and pieces, but what I saw I really liked. Pullman & Ormond are worth the rental/purchase alone.

I've heard the ending is whacked; I wasn't the least bit surprised.

Who you calling Dao?

I really want to see Joint Security Area (JSA).

And, I may go to the movie theater for the first time in many years, to see District 9.
