ChasBB Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 I didn't know he was Hostetler's nephew. He seems to be working his way to a spot on the team. If he's only half as tough as Hostetler, he's a keeper.

I don't remember the exact play, but the first thing that caught my attention early on in the preseason was not a catch, but a drop. Stupar was outstretched going for the football and clearly seen the safety coming up with real bad intentions and never even flinched. Stupar took a whack that would knock some players out of the ball game and bounced up like it never even happened, that's what caught my attention first about Stupar. He then went on to catch almost everything that came his way and was leading the NFL in receptions during the preseason at one time. Stupar, Stuparman, and he is one tough cookie...

I was pissed when he didn't make the team, this makes me really happy! Hopefully he won't get buried on the bench, I think he's better than Fine....but what do I know.
Guest dog14787 Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 I know for a fact that he was here (in Orchard Park) for most of the offseason. He was always over at the stadium, working in the weight room and constantly trying to get himself in the best possible shape he could. I'm very happy all of that work is paying off for him. Next time you see Jonathan tell him one of his biggest fans wants to see him on twitter if that's at all possible. Its been a roller coaster ride so far for Jonathan Stupar and it would be fun to follow his progress.
